About the Stories: (A little more info than I can give in the summaries on the site.)
Star Fox: The Saurian Adventure: A retelling of Star Fox Adventures in which Krystal escapes Andross's grasp in the beginning and meets up with Fox and Tricky early on in the story. This story was originally started on deviantArt at the suggestion of a couple of friends, after I floated a few ideas around and they said if I could make a story out of it they'd read it. This story has gotten a lot of positive feedback so far, and I suspect that a good portion of that is because they like the idea of Krystal being free instead of playing the tired old role of damsel-in-distress. I thought this story had the possibility for a fair amount of romantic comedy, with Fox's "aw-shucks" sort of reactions to Krystal's attentions, and could also be used to help elaborate a bit on a possible explanation of her background. One last purpose behind this story was to address a couple of aspects of Adventures that really annoyed me; specifically, parts of the dialog sounding like they were written by an eight-year-old, and holes in the plot that are never really addressed.
Happy Mother's Day, Krystal: A sweet family-oriented story that came to my mind the day after Mother's Day, actually, and was further influenced by the fact that I had yet to see even a single Mother's Day story anywhere on this site (I'll grant I haven't been looking all that hard, but still...) This story was unusual in its making because it only took me a couple of hours to type the whole thing, and I never took a break to play any video games in the process. :D
Star Fox Legacies vol 1: Sojourn's End: The whole Legacies series is meant to tell of the happenings after the events in Command stretching out to second and maybe third and fourth generations. The twist is, the beginning of the series twines together the "Star Wolf Returns" and "The Curse of Pigma" endings of Command, and starts four years after Krystal leaves Lylat in disgrace and takes the alias of Kursed. The setting of Kew is a place where anthropomorphs live together with humans, who are a displaced race due to Earth being overrun by another alien race. Tensions between the humans and the anthros have at times led to internal upheavals, the most violent of which has occurred just before Krystal comes to the system. Shortly after she arrives on Kew, she meets a native of the system who starts giving her leads for particularly lucrative bounties. As time progresses, she is drawn into the struggle herself and must face both vindictive enemies and her own inner demons.
Dark Orbit: Based off an old and currently discontinued WildTangent game; takes place after the events of Command but blends the "good" endings. Star Fox gets a call from General Peppy to investigate reports of strange occurrences on the distant mining colony of Nibiru. While Fox and Falco are on the surface, all hell breaks loose and they are thrust into a struggle to survive against overwhelming enemy forces. The odds are clearly against them, but they are determined to survive and escape to be reunited with their love
Star Fox Command: Renaissance: Starts with the default ending of Command (where Krystal ditches Fox and runs back into Panther's arms). Fox is sitting alone and wasted in a bar when he is given an unusual artifact. As he sleeps that night, the artifact warps time and space to bring him back to the beginning of the Anglar War - giving him a second chance to make things right with Krystal. The stakes are high and the odds of success are low, but he has help from an enigmatic youth who joins up with him to aid in the defeat of the Anglars.
Pokemon: TrailBlazers: A teenage trainer from Johto named Kyle Voston finds and befriends a young girl who is part Vulpix. He takes her under his protection, but soon finds himself the target of a mysterious organization that will stop at nothing to capture the girl for their own ends. The two of them travel to various regions in the world, trying to uncover the reason they want her so bad and the truth behind her origin, and as they face and overcome hardships together, their feelings for each other start to deepen.
To Catch a Thief: (Sly Cooper) Takes place after Sly 3. The Cooper gang is implicated in a series of heists, but Inspector Carmelita Fox knows they are innocent of the crime of which they are accused. However, when a superior officer in Interpol stonewalls her investigation, she goes off the grid and teams up with Sly and his friends directly in order to catch the real thieves.
About the Characters: I'll post OC bios once I've written enough about them in the stories that I don't give away too many spoilers.
