WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT SOME AUTHORS
.) I can't stand it when the author changes the gender of one of the main characters from a boy to a girl because they don't want to write something gay or they don't find it as "cute" unless their favorite character is a girl. If the original creator wanted that character to be a GIRL they wouldn't have made them a BOY.
.) When the author attempts to write a story with an OC about this mysterious ball busting girl who comes out of no where-when in all honesty it's really just some kind of weird plot to put themselves in the story. (And they always seem to be related to an existing character or come from an old bloodline that everyone thought was extinct) Just...stop it.
.)I hate that so many OC's are girls. Especially one of those stories where-in canon verse- the family only has brothers so the author of the fanfic takes it upon their self to either add in a little "princess" to all the drama so that everyone can treat her like a doll or they make her out to be some kind of depressed chick who doesn't know what to do with herself-THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN!
.)I don't like it when authors go on a long hiatus promising to come back or worse-saying that they've lost interest in the fandom! Dude at least let someone else adopt the story:/
.) When Authors use the reviewing system to bully other Authors into changing/deleting their stories because it's not up to their standards. (Or hiding behind the excuse of "critiquing" the story to make it better)
.) Authors who basically demand you write the story for them...but let them keep their name on it. Ex. "Ok guys I need a prompt any prompt and you have to give it to me in detail so I can make it happen."
.) When Authors withhold updates until they get a certain number of reviews (which is pretty manipulative in itself) and then COMPLAIN about the review content! What in the world?? It's feedback...just be grateful.
