Harry Potter

Generally indifferent to actual main pairings in a story as long as it manages to be interesting. I am fine with canon ships in HP but feel the epilogue was rather lacking and did more harm than good. Harmony is vaguely weird to me and not one I ever actively seek out and I think a fair few ships end up being mostly horny fics exploring sexuality rather than legitimate ideas. Multi ships don't usually work and will usually be an aspect that is tolerated at best with some rare exceptions.

Material past the original seven books is nothing I care for and I will mostly ignore it. I also don't have the best opinions on the movies which increasingly failed to portray the world and characters as I'd imagined them (and were rather lacklustre in terms of making magic feel magical).

My writing normally amounts to too many ideas most of which don't end up being worked into things. I still want to work Serpentine Serenade into something more, but each attempt has ended up bogged down and off tone. Maybe one day.

If people are somehow actually reading this, recommendations for fics in general are always appreciated and I would especially thankful for anything involving well imagined non-standard iterations of Gabrielle, Fleur, Daphne or Luna Lovegood.
