Maze says: I have a tumblr! (groans) I broke down and did it.
Aug 18th: I just posted a blog with some questions asked about the Nightmare of Heart series (Nightmare, My Heart, Insanity).
You may look forward to more blogs...thoughts about chapters as I am writing them.
Welcome to the magical, mystical, mysterious world of Maze Puppet (me);
I am a writer. Which is why I have an account with Fanfiction. Read below to find out more about myself and my work.
My name will not be disclosed on this site, so you can just call me Maze Puppet, or any variation of it that you want to.
I've been a career college student for longer than I care to admit. I just graduated (sorta) with an Associate's Degree (I have to wait a few months to receive my diploma). It's nothing exciting, like an English degree or what-have-you. And I guess I can admit to a grudging amount of pride in getting this far. I'm sure if some other people were stuck as a career community college student as I have been, they may have given it up for a lost cause by this point. I'm just ungodly stubborn, I guess.
I live in the U.S. and am native-born. I identify as a European mutt, though, lol. Mixed blood is an understatement; I've even got a little Native American Cherokee blood (that explains why I'm not pasty-white like a Northern European...I tan like a beast!) I don't care about being of mixed blood; I'm proud of the conglomeration of genetics that make me who I am.
I just moved several states away to join my fiance (who left ahead of me a few months ago to get a job). I have a part-time job...but I want something better, more career-like.
Uhh, what else... I still hold dreams of being a writer in the future...which is why I have returned from my five-or-seven-or-million year long hiatus to finish up writing my story Hidden Artist. I am intensely grateful for everyone who has come back to finish out the story with me, and those who have joined in my following over the years. You guys are amazing, and have the (relative) patience of saints. ((I've heard some very impatient people in my reviews...It tickles me, and inspires me to write more, and faster.))
Speaking of which, I am on a mission to finish Hidden Artist around December (so if you're reading it, or about to, you can look forward to a couple of more months of updates).
I also have another DGM story that has been in the works for a few years. I don't know where it's going or what it's doing...but I will post it...eventually. It might only be a one-shot, but I guarantee, it's pretty long. 9k words and it's growing.
I'm always open to answering private messages and reviews...I try to stay on top of that as much as I can. Talking to people is interesting. I like listening.
I have a request to anyone who checks out my profile. It's about my best friend, who is like a sister to me, and her mom. Her mom is one of the most amazing women I have ever met. Recently, she was diagnosed with spinal stenosis with three broken vertebrae in her lower lumbar. This woman, this amazing mother and grandmother, continues to wake up every day and go to work at her job as a manager, come home and take care of her kids and grandkids. I hear stories of her waking up in the middle of the night crying because the pain is so bad. Somehow, she keeps on truckin' and hasn't given up yet. But she desperately needs surgery!!
There is a Go Fund Me account, called "Much Needed Back Surgery", trying to raise money for her surgery: she was chosen by the Spinal Institute of Missouri here in the United States for laser surgery. She needs at least $5000 to help cover the costs. Please, check it out, donate what you can, or pray for her and her family.
I'm doing what I can to help, but I can only do so much. I've donated what I can, too...and ask for help from anyone who is able.
I know things like this can be sketchy, because over the internet, you never know where your money is going...but even $5 or $10 can't hurt.

Thank you so much in advance!
