Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, Twilight, and Greek Mythology.
I can't tell you my real name in fear that my family will discover that I'm doing this and then sit around pointing and laughing at me, or even worse: get interested and actually WANT to read the fanfics! But i can tell you that I'm studying my Masters in teaching, am terrified of moths and that I really really like pickles.
I've always been a big reader and now I occasionally like to write as well. I started out obsessing over Harry Potter books and when i discovered fanfiction i thought i'd died and gone to heaven. Then I realised I could write about Harry Potter! It was pretty exciting!
I'm a whole lot older now so I've expanded my obsessions around a bit. Now I read a lot of different things. When I get hooked on an author I'll read everything they've written. Right now I'm in love (not literally) with Terry Pratchett. If you haven't read his Discworld novels and want a good laugh then read any one of them - they are hilarious! I also like soppy romance novels - the ones with gorgeous male models on the front cover holding some swooning woman with far too much cleavage. I've also shared a brief romance with the Twilight series. That's just to name a few.
At the moment I'm working on TWO fanfics: Flowers in the Dark, and A Yearning
A Yearning is my second attempt at a Harry Potter fanfic, my first story being ridiculously boring. It's a Hermione/Snape romance that's quite soppy (but I like that sort of thing and I'm betting you do as well if you're reading this). I started writing it two years ago but most of that time I spent avoiding writing. However, I'm dead keen to finish it now that my love for Severus Snape has been rekindled. HIATUS (again). Sorry but I have no beta for this story and if someone with good literature skills would like to be, then I will gladly take them on board in order to finish this story. However, right now I have no idea how to continue the story because I never came up with a plot for the fic. Basically, I'm making it up as I go. That being said, I've recently found inspiration and will attempt to close off the story for once and for all!
Flowers in the Dark is a Greek Mythology fanfic based on the Homeric tale of Hades and Persephone. The story goes that he kidnapped her down to the Underworld and forced her to eat pomegranite seeds so that she would have to spend half her year with him. Sounds horrible? Well, it's a far more romantic tale in MY version! It's also a very popular story and there are a LOT of fanfic based on this myth these days, so I'm finding it difficult to keep my version different from everyone else's. It's a challenge but I really want to finish it.
I also have another fic: Morning Rain. This is planned to be a long continuation of Twilight saga's Breaking Dawn and is based on Jacob and Renesmee. If you've read Breaking Dawn you might have noted that Renesmee did not find out about the imprinting issue, and it was assumed in the book that this would be revealed later when Renesmee was perhaps older. Morning Rain is about how this is revealed. This will actually be a really good fic when I start writing it properly. Right now this fic is on Hiatus and I won't be updating it until both my other fics are complete.
Lastly, I used to have a HP fic called The Walls that Divide the Heart. It was a Draco Malfoy/Hermione fic based in AU after fifth year at Hogwarts. However, like I said, the fic turned out to be a load of rubbish, no one was reviewing and I gave it up as a lost cause. It has been deleted so don't bother looking for it. I would still like to do a Draco fanfic at some point because he was my favourite character for a very long time in the series. I don't have a plot in mind, but maybe one day something will pop up :)
One day, I'd like to write real books. Somehow, I've never been able to come up with a decent plot. Hopefully, a good story will come my way and I'll write it up. Maybe it might be a bestseller, who knows? But I think I'll always enjoy writing fanfiction because it gives you the freedom to work with characters that people already have intimate knowledge of.
If there are ever any questions or issues or complaints you have about my fanfictions, please do not hesitate to email me or post a review. I am quite happy to settle any issues or comments you may have.
I hope you enjoy my fanfictions.
I thought this was funny, which tells you how terrible my sense of humour is:
You know you spend WAAAAAY too much time mucking around with technology when:
1.) You accidentally enter your password on a microwave.
2.) You haven't played solitare with real cards for years
3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is they dont have a screenname or myspace
4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the buttons on the TV
6.) Your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job.
7.) As you read this list you keep nodding and smiling.
8.) As you read this list you think about sending it to all your friends.
9.) and you were too busy to notice number 5.
10.) You scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5.
11.) Now you are laughing at yourself stupidly.
12.) Put this in your profile if you fell for that, and you know you did.
