"Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become." -cs Lewis
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10, New King James
Hello everyone! Well, I guess you want to know a little about me!
Me: In a nutshell, I am a 19 year old girl with an undying love for literature and all things fanfiction! Currently, I am both working and taking college classes. My major is undecided but it will absolutly involve writing of some sort. I am a dedicated coffee drinker, lover of all things sweet, and enjoy walking, shopping, and spending time with my family and my boyfriend. I'm also a morning person. Go figure. I am a Christian.
Favorite T.V. shows: Oh boy! Star Wars: the Clone Wars, House: MD, Bones, Law and Order: SUV, Law and Order: CI, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, NCIS, and Gilmore Girls just to name a few.
Favorite Movies: Pride and Prejudice, Star Wars, Serenity, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Obi-wan Kenobi: My favorite Jedi ever. Funny, warm, and dedicated to the Light. I love how he progressed through the series, becoming more and more wise and powerful. He is also the only Jedi to appear in all Star Wars movies.
Anakin Skywalker: Brash, arrogant, and cocky- and yet you can't help but love him! He just tries so hard to save everyone- and Obi-wan loves him so I must as well!
Ahsoka Tano: She's so spunky and full of fire!
Asajji Ventress: I know, I know kill me now! But there's just something about Ventress that I like. She's a great fighter, and has a sense of humor that just cracks me up. And then there's just something about her that reminds me of a lost, little girl that just needs a father's love and support. There is good in her, I just know it!
Captain Rex: He's so brave and loyal!
Siri: I love her! Amazing fighter, and loyal friend.
Obi-wan/Siri, Obi-wan/Ventress, Anakin/Padme/, and Ahsoka/Rex
Dean: He reminds me of Han Solo! He loves his family so much and is insanely loyal to them. All sarcastic remarks and epic man-tears. He's amazing!
Sam: The poor guy needs a break. He was caught up in events that he had nothing to do with- tricked and menipulated all his life by forces beyond his control. Despite all that, Sam himself loves his older brother and believes in him even when Dean doesn't.
Castiel: "Hey! Assbut!" Nuff said!
Bobby: The unsung hero who sticks by his boys no matter what.
Sam/Jessica, Dean/Jo, Castiel and Dean and Sam- not slash
House: Obviously. He's so horrible and rude. And so irristitible! Those blue eyes! Sign.
Cameron: Wonderful charactor. I hate that she's gone now. She transformed from a soft pushover into a firy, spunky women with a mind of her own. She also became a dang good doctor, unafraid to challenge House.
Law and Order:SVU
Munch: Godda, just Godda love Munch! His dry witty remarks leave me rolling on the floor begging for more! Everyone hug Munch!
Olivia: She is so brave and full of self-sacrific. As Doc Wong says she is living proof that we have a choice.
Elliot: Yummy, yummy! He is such a good family man, protective and loving.
Law and Order: CI
Bobby Goren: So big, beautiful, and tragic! Every time I see him I want to run up and give him and bug hug and say everything is going to be O.K. He is so loving and smart, willing to give anything to see justice done.
Gibbs: What can I say? He is so dedicated and full of fire for justice. And he loves his team too. You can tell.
Tim: Wonderful character. Transformed from cringing by- the- book- boy into strong, confident leader.
Tony: Again what can I say? Everyone loves Tony. Movies anyone?
Ziva: Whatda woman! I love the way she always screws up English puns! And I love the interaction between Gibbs and Ziva as well. He is such a father-figure to her.
Abby: No matter how down I am, Abby always makes me smile!
Gibbs/Shannon, Tony/Ziva, Abby/Tim
Lorelei: My personal hero. Witty and wild! She just loves life, no matter what facing it with a joke and a cup of coffee.
Rory: As a fellow school and book lover, I can relate to her.
Luke: Grouchy, but so loveable! He may bellow and yell every step of the way, but he will do anything for people he cares about.
Luke/Lorelei, Rory/Jess, Rory/Logan
The Fellowship of the Unashamed
I am part of the Fellowship of the Unashamed.
I have Holy Spirit power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by presense, learn by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.
My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my campanions few, my Guide is reliable, my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won't give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, or stayed up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until He returns, give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until he comes.
And when He come to get his own, He will have no problem recognizing me. My banner will be clear, for I am part of The Fellowship of the Unashamed!
