Although I've been writing fanfiction for a couple of decades under various FFN user names, this is the account I've created for corset-related pieces of fiction. The corset has been one of the most misunderstood and hated pieces of clothing since the late 1800's, and the myths around this garment have been perpetuated since. As a wearer of said garment myself (although not as devoted a "waist trainer" as some), I have suffered none of the maladies perpetuated by society today, and neither have those who wear them sensibly. My works, while fiction, are intended to treat the subject of corsetry with the truth and respect it has been denied.

My works (so far) include two pieces:

Dora Tonks Grows Up: Set in the Harry Potter universe, Nymphadora Tonks quickly discovers that muggle bras are not all they're cracked up to be, and a well-fitted corset can be extremely comfortable. As she and her Hufflepuff roommates navigate through their remaining years at Hogwarts, Dora grows up (as the title implies) and grows in her understanding of herself and the wizarding world.

She Walks in Truth: A revision, of sorts, of the ending to Siri Mitchell's novel, "She Walks in Beauty." After Clara Carter's marriage to the love of her life, an achievement in and of itself, she quickly realizes that her decision to cast off all corsets will not fly in the 1890's western world. But, perhaps, her hatred of the garment was because she was never wearing one that quite fit her.

I hope to have more works to follow, but at the moment, "Dora Tonks Grows Up" is taking up most of my time and interest!
