Author has written 2 stories for Fable, and Mai HiME.
Not much to say...
Thanks for stopping by if you've read one of my stories. Unfortunately I've only got two here at the moment, but I want to focus on only one at a time, which for the meantime will be "Bitter Taste". I unfortunately don't have the time to continue with "By any other name" at the moment, but maybe some free time will magically appear so I can play around with it some more.
One little pet peeve before I get to my little rant: If I sit down and spend the time writing a story that you enjoy, and you put either me or my story on alert, would you do me the favour of telling me why you enjoy it? I find it rather rude that people are willing to sit back and read my hard work, and enjoy it enough to want to be alerted to new stuff, and won't even drop me a line saying that they liked the characterisation/writing style/premise/whatthefuckever.
So next time you think about pushing the Author alert/Story altert button, stop and think about how long it takes the author to pen a chapter or story, and how long it takes to drop us a quick word of thanks or even better, a critique.
I'm female and in my early twenties, using writing as a creative outlet. I've always enjoyed writing for fun, and started at the grand old age of seven by writing my first co-authored piece. It was written with the help of my childhood friends, and as you can very well imagine, it was a literary masterpiece. :) I first discovered fanfiction at the age of thirteen, and started dabbling in writing fics. Like most young authors my work was filled with lots of cliches, grammatical errors and the insecure arrogance that comes with early teenage years, but it had good foundations. Thanks to some fantastic reviewers who were willing to give me some much-needed advice, my writing style has come a long way, with life-experience to help broaden my horizons.
Hopefully you've enjoyed something that I've written and will drop me a line letting me know what you think. I must admit I am desperately fond of godly-length reviews that go into character analysis, plot analysis and relationship analysis as well as commenting on more stylistic elements, but they seem to be few and far between. So to those that do: I will love you for all eternity. :)
Current writing challenge: Writing for characters I don't particularly like, or downright hate, without letting my personal biases seep into my storytelling.
"Bitter Taste" update: (15/05/2010) Still writing chapter four. Hopefully will be done soon. Have made some slight revisions to previous chapters, and had to fix issues with new formatting rules. Much hate.
