Author has written 7 stories for Naruto.
Some parts of my stories I love, and some parts I hate. I am learning as I go. I post them online because I enjoy reading other people's stories, and I hope that someone might get some joy from reading my mine.
But at the end of the day, I write my stories for me. I make no promises about how long it will take me to update them, reviewing my chapters with 'UPDATE THIS!' will not make me write any faster. I have a life outside of fanfiction, and I hope you do too.
I also (usually) know exactly what direction my stories are heading towards before I even post the first chapter. In true Shakespearean fashion I believe there are only two types of stories that are believable; comedies and tragedies. Comedies are light hearted, are allowed to be out of character (within reason), and end with the couple getting together. Tragedies are heavy and dark, and usually do not end happily. So, no, I won't add an extra chapter onto my drama where everything ends 'happily ever after', no matter how much you sob in your review. Sorry, if it doesn't work for me, I can't write it.
Those things being said, I love each and every one of your reviews, whether praising or critiquing (as long as it is respectful). Unlike some other authors, I don't care how long or short your reviews are, even a simple 'good story' is most appreciated :)
I'm only here for Naruto fiction, I don't read or write anything else. I love this community, and the freedom that it gives us to make our favourite characters and settings into whatever we want them to be. I like to take advantage of this to it's full extent, trying to stay away from canonical pairings, and enjoying something different for a change. If I could encourage you to one thing, it would be to give pairings that you had never imagined a go. I have read some incredible Kimimaro x Sakura fiction, and I have written my own Jiraiya x Sakura below. Give it a go, you might find you really like it!
Good luck with your own writing, and I hope you can find some enjoyment in mine :)
STORIES IN THE PIPELINE:
What I'm working on currently:
Ladyhawke: SasuSaku / ItaSaku. Multi-chapter. Based in part on the movie. Angst/Fantasy/Romance.
Plot Summary: “By day, she is the hawk that protects his back from above. By night, he is the wolf that shields her from the dark. The wolf that she loves. The hawk that he worships. Always together yet forever apart.” When Sakura asked Sasuke to take her with him on that fateful night ten years ago, she never dreamed he would say yes. And from that day on, Sakura's life had been a living hell. But on the day that Sasuke finally defeated the Snake Sannin, and took his place as the new leader of Sound, Sakura thought that her life might finally become something that she could call worth it all, worth all the pain and suffering, and worth the betrayal of her home village. Especially when he asks that she take her place at his side, and help him to restore the Uchiha clan to its former greatness with him. But with his newfound power the Uchiha defector reveals his own inner monster, and proves to be far worse than even Orochimaru himself. Sakura soon finds herself as a new kind of slave - this time, a slave to only him and his every whim and desire. When an old enemy nearly forgotten comes to the Sound fortress, Sasuke can scarcely believe that it is his own aniki, come to fall to his knees before him and beg for his forgiveness. With dreams of conquering the five nations and vengeance against the village that betrayed his clan foremost in his mind, Sasuke accepts Itachi's plea, deciding to use his brother's remorse as a means to control him, by making him his number one weapon, and Captain of his guard. But even Sasuke could not forsee that his brother’s penitence is skin-deep, and that Itachi has come for a higher purpose—to determine exactly what kind of man his little brother has become. And the pink-haired woman at his side’s eyes tell a story of horrors beyond Itachi’s imagination...
Itachi will do anything to keep her safe from his sadistic brother. But his brother will stop at nothing to keep them apart.
The Female of the Species: ItaSaku. Multi-chapter. Will also contain SasuSaku, KakaSaku.
Plot Summary: A life full of love and then loss has made Sakura a cynic to love. Till she discovers a love she never thought would be possible again, even more powerful than ever before. But fate is cruel, and when her heart is ripped to shreds yet again, Sakura becomes a hollow shell, a shadow of her former self. Then one day an incident of self-preservation uncovers a dormant force inside her that awakens a power that no one ever thought possible. A force more powerful than the revered Uchiha and Jinchuuriki combined. Fleeing her native village Sakura embarks on a new life as a dangerous missing-nin, and with her new-found power crushes all who stand in her way. But someone is watching her. Someone with a power to rival her own. And when the two come face to face the girl who had resigned herself to never loving again is suddenly sucked into a black hole of the darkest and most dangerous affair in shinobi history. Their combined powers and intense connection make them an unstoppable force leaving death and destruction in their wake, and all hope of good defeating evil seems lost for ever. But when a love long forgotten impossibly resurfaces, which side will she choose? Good . . . or Evil?
Coming at some stage...
A Life Forgotten: NejiSaku. Multi-chapter or One-shot, not sure yet.
Plot Summary: Sakura has failed at being a kunoichi, ridiculed by her peers and turned away by her friends and her shishou. But what is left for a used and abused kunoichi whose only skill is to seduce for a living? Yes, Sakura has become a prostitute. Living in the slums of Konoha and servicing the village's little known and well hidden seedy underworld, she has escaped the humiliation of confronting the faces of her past everyday, but at what cost? Day after day of giving her body to endless strangers but keeping her heart locked securely in an impenetrable safe inside her, and facing the inevitable prospect of a life forever without love, she believes this is her only future. But what happens when one of those faces from her past unknowingly shows up at her door? Can they help each other make a new start, and both learn to love again? Or is Sakura in too deep?
