Harry has a cousin who he regards as his sister, Daphne, years younger than him. She's an Obscurial who Dumbledore decides needs to attend Hogwarts years early; he believes she can be healed. ALSO - the adults actually act a lot more intelligent than in the original, which causes more divergence from canon starting in Year 2. A lot of character backstories are changed, too.
