Total ANGST-lover here, dating from 1993 when I picked up my first X-Files fanfic. Have been addicted to well-written fan fiction ever since.
Fic Interests: X-Files (of course), Iron Man, some Star Trek (TOS mostly), Pretender and some Firefly (though this is a particularly difficult genre for most writers, I believe).
I guess I shouldn't include any personal info here, but I couldn't care less either way. Originally from Canada (Toronto), moved to the US in 1999 (San Fran) and then to Texas (Austin, 2004).
Very impressed with the polished work that's coming out these days in the different fandoms -- from both young and old writers alike. Restores my faith in fan-based projects. My reviews tend to be a bit long-winded at times, but I see it as a testament to the high quality of the work I read. Besides, I'd rather write long reviews/comments than try my hand at writing a fanfic. I don't have a muse, I don't have the skills, nor do I have the time for such an admirable endeavour. There are better people out there doing it, and that makes me one particularly grateful reader.
