Author has written 103 stories for Lord of the Rings, Zorro, Firefly, SeaQuest, Stargate: SG-1, Harry Potter, and Remington Steele.
I live in Los Angeles, work for a film studio, and have a wide variety of interests that keep me busy.
Remember, writers always love feedback . . . If the story has moved you in any way, leave a comment, whether it be praise or constructive criticism.
If I've taken the time to review a story, it means it has affected me in some way. Don't get too excited now - That way may not always be positive. But nowadays (unlike in the past) if I do leave a review, I try not to make it so scathing as to bruise the fragile little writer's hearts. I will, however, be bluntly honest. You've posted on a public forum and so you must be prepared to take the good with the bad as a consequence of doing so.
But - really, if any of you want to write professionally, you need to know how to take criticism. A fan's comments are usually going to be far less critical than an editor, publisher or agent's.
I don't write a whole lot of fic anymore, preferring to concentrate on scriptwriting. But, sometimes, one has to break out of the world of original characters (and the stress they invariably heap on your shoulders) and delve back into someone elses sandbox. The sandbox I'm currently playing in is Stargate.
You can read my feature length Stargate script here:
Wow. It's been a long time since I've added something here. Well, I'm just popping in for a brief moment to add to the list of sandboxes I've played in.
Being a longtime fan of Pierce Brosnan, I picked up the whole Remington Steele series over the holidays and spent an obsessive few weeks watching every single episode. I'd seen it when it originally aired but since I'd just moved and was stubbornly refusing to get cable (I lasted 3 months when the upcoming Oscar Awards and Game of Thrones forced my hand) I found myself able to immerse myself in the episodes without the lure of network or cable tv.
The result, as you'll see below is my latest fic offering.
The break from screenwriting was welcome but I must return to it. Since I'm going through the series with a friend now, perhaps my creativity will be hijacked by another RS idea. We'll see.
