EXTRA SPECIAL EXTRA :)
"Hey, what's up with the wait, Richan?" Duo asked as he bounced into the library.
Patrons dove for cover at the sight of the gun he was wielding. The head librarian looked, for a brief moment, like she was going to say something, but she obviously thought better of the idea. She, too, dove for cover, her hand reaching up to the counter and grabbing a recently returned People magazine.
Richan looked up from her laptop, where she had been cooing at its shiny-ness. "Huh?"
The ground trembled at bit and a shadow covered the entire building. A giant leg appeared out the window where she was sitting.
"What's going on, Duo?"
Violet eyes crinkled a bit. "You kept us all from getting our happy endings!"
Richan frowned. "It wasn't my fault my computer died. It was ten years old! I'm not a computer genius like Heero is! My mother only thinks I am because I know more about computers than she does."
Duo's head tilted to the side. "Oh. Computer problem? I thought that you were holding out on your readers!"
"Um. No. I wouldn't do that to anyone - at least, no on purpose." Richan shrugged. "I've already got some plans on what story I'll be putting up next, now that I have a nice, shiny laptop to work on. I might be able to get more stories out!"
That doesn't mean that I won't be here. When I do get the chance to, I can use my computer at work - I just can't use it to upload things. Well, if I have a job after Wednesday. Even though I don't work for the state government myself, my employer does a lot of business with them. If my boss has to lay anyone off, it'll be me, because I was the latest hire (way back in April). If that happens, I'll be on the lookout for another job, which will take more time away from writing, etc.
Wish me luck,
Well, in order to make up for it, I've posted two stories. The Art of Relationships is an older story - one that I had up on this account at one point, before taking it down. I didn't like it - I was a new writer, and thought all of my stories were horrible. It didn't help that I didn't receive any reviews for it. I may not be a review whore, but I do like to get feedback.
I Get My Kicks (On Route 66) is a ficlet featuring my one true threesome. I love Sirius/Remus/Harry. There aren't enough of them out there.
In other news, I have been working on All of Tomorrow's Worries, which is the sequel of To Whom it May Concern, though it is slow going. I'm currently working two jobs. It doesn't leave me a lot of time to work on my stories. In fact, it will get even worse the closer it gets to Christmas. Let's just say that working retail is sometimes a deep pain in the neck. (Hey, at least I said it in a polite tone.)
Note to all readers! I really, Really, REALLY, REALLY like reviews! Please, let me know what you thought of my stories. I appreciate the feedback. Well, except for flames. Flamers should be publicly rideculed for being so stupid as to yell at someone else when they ignored all the warning signs.
