BEFORE YOU READ FURTHER. If you have read my stories, plan on reading my stories, or just stumbled across me by accident, I absolutely demand--well, okay, I don't demand, but I would love it if you checked out my amazing friend's blog: http://island0fmisfittoyz.wordpress.com . I would love you even more if you subscribed. This boy is absolutely amazing, and you'll be able to ogle him if you check out his blog. Many thanks.
If you are here because you've read Seven Parasols or if you've read it in the past: I am thinking of updating the story. It's still getting a constant stream of reviews, but I can't even bear to read it. I wrote it so long ago, I cringe to see the kind of tidying up it needs. I'd like to know readers' takes on this. Generally it would just be grammar and punctuation edits. My style has evolved a lot since, so those changes would also be made to more resemble my current work, which in my opinion is a lot stronger. If anyone would like to see this update or, alternatively, doesn't want me to go anywhere near the story, let me know through e-mail or personal message, or by reviewing the story itself. Thanks!
I write sporadically, whenever an idea comes to mind. It's not so much about motivation as it is everything clicking in my mind and knowing I need to write it down. My work is taking a path that noticeably diverges from my old stuff and I like it.
Incidentally, I'm aware an article was written on Wikipedia regarding my writing competition, Write the Wrong (which you can check under my Forums). I had them remove the article because, for starters, I don't really see that it was appropriate for Wikipedia, and secondly because I got about four e-mails a day saying "Saw you on Wiki!" I'm really grateful for everyone's enthusiasm, honestly, but I felt it was just better that my friend took it down for me. I'm not sure who wrote the article but I'm sure you had good intentions.
...Someone also mailed me a Hello Kitty mp3 player claiming they're my biggest fan ever. That was a bit creepy. But uh, thanks.
