Hi everyone. Welcome to my bio, put your feet up, make yourself comfortable and take some time to look around. =)
Labelbasher is my new name. You may have also known me as Pirate Rhi, or back in the very old days when I first joined up to ff.n, RJ.
All about Me
If you're visiting my bio because you're wondering why the heck I'm not updating Live and Let Die, then this is my rather pathetic attempt at an apology and an excuse... So, firstly there's uni, which is sucking up most of my time and creativity at the moment - the workload is massive and there is so much to remember that I'm afraid that if I try to fit information in my head that's not relevant, it will push out a whole bunch of stuff I actually need to know! Secondly, since beginning the story I have found myself a wonderful boyfriend (who actually loves House as well...) who fulfils all my need for love and romance, so I currently feel less inclined to create it myself for fictional characters. In saying this, though, I DO actually intend to finish the story and once I have time to sit down and write, I will probably be able to wrap it up in a few more chapters, so don't dismay, you will see the end of the story eventually!
Before I started posting Live and Let Die, it had been a while since I'd posted a multi-chapter story, so I'd forgotten how much I love reviews, but now I think I truely am addicted to them. I do have an addictive personality after all! In light of that revelation, I now solemnly swear never to add another story to my alerts without leaving at least one review! I think it's a rule everyone should go by. Authors spend a lot of time and effort creating stories and it's the best reward ever to have people like their stories and to leave reviews. It's what keeps a lot of authors writing. If you like a story enough to add it to your alerts, then you can spare a minute of your time to tell the author that you liked it. However, I will never hold a chapter hostage for reviews, I will post no matter how many reviews I get. Although in saying that, lots of really nice reviews do make me more inclined to write and post quicker, especially for those who are really enjoying my stories. Anyway, rant is now over, so you can now read on about me if you so desire...
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
DOB: 22 July 1986, which currently makes me 21.
Me in general: I have blonde hair and blue eyes, I'm currently studying physiotherapy at university, I am a real perfectionist when it comes to writing, especially spelling and grammar! I work part-time in a pharmacy and have been there for just over 5 years!
Loves: My wonderful boyfriend, chocolate, writing, reading novels and fanfic, kickboxing, running at 5.30am (yes I know I'm nuts!), other sports (especially playing soccer, and watching rugby on TV - go All Blacks!), music (anything rock, especially Muse, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Oresund (my brother's band, they're absolutely awesome) and heaps of others. I'm enjoying my classic rock stuff right now too), any book by Janet Evanovich, movies, TV, being weird, taking photos, telling dry jokes and one-liners that make everyone groan, riding my motorbike, thunderstorms, and lots of other stuff that I can't remember right now.
Fave Fanfic stuff right now: Right now I'm really into House (I ship House/Cameron, with an occasional side of Wilson/Cuddy), with a bit of Bones (Booth/Bones all the way!), CSI (I don't really have a favourite ship, which is quite unusual for me. I read Sara/Grissom, Sara/Nick, and occasionally Sara/Greg fics. Or anything else that I feel like at the time) and Prison Break (I did ship Michael/Sara, but obviously I can't anymore!) thrown in for variety. I'm getting lots of ideas for fanfics, but I have to concentrate on uni for now. It's really frustrating!
Hates: Slash stories - why would you do that? Also, bad drivers, vegetables, snobby people and windscreen wipers (I can never get them to go at the right speed!) and authors that hold chapters hostage for reviews. I think that's a sign of immaturity, and I actually don't review stories for authors that demand that. And that's pretty much it...I'm pretty easygoing.
All about my stories
Live and Let Die This story is my baby. I'm quite proud of it and I've really enjoyed writing it and I hope you guys enjoy reading it too. The basic storyline is; House's lifestyle finally catches up with him and his liver begins packing it in, so he is forced to give up the Vicodin. Fortunately Cameron and Wilson are there to help him through it. That's all I'm going to say about it now, otherwise I will give it all away. I will elaborate on this a bit more once I have posted more of the story. It will most definitely be a House/Cameron story!
Note to the readers of Two Weeks at Camp Hercule, Hero? Doubt it, Life's Like That, and Love Knows No Distance: These stories will not be completed, as my interest in these fandoms has long since diminished, and I would not be doing justice to the story or the fandom or you as the readers, to continue these stories. You will have to use your imaginations for the endings. I have one more unposted chapter for Hero? Doubt it, and 2 more chapters for Life's Like That, which I will endeavour to edit and post and some stage. Not sure when that will happen, though.
Well I guess that's me in a (rather large) nutshell...
