A meeting with Red John is imminent, and Patrick Jane has just one more loose end to tie up. But as usual, Teresa Lisbon isn't cooperating.

Now complete, and there's still a little surprise twist waiting in the last chapter. The title is stolen from the wonderful Leonard Cohen song.

Two years ago, she told him that she'd get him out if he ever ended up behind bars wrongfully accused of a crime. Unfortunately for him, the crime he's being accused of right now is against her, and until she wakes up, it's his word versus all the evidence piling up against him.
