Author has written 4 stories for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, and Tangled.
Age: I am a college sophomore (finally getting around to changing this)
Language: English is my first and worst language, but I can also speak a little Japanese.
Location: My "camp". Currently studying British History in the UK, particularly the part once called England.
Attention: Life got away from me as I was doing a University of Washington class at my highschool, and now at college I am being very-slightly-somewhat anti-social and overworked. Not to mention, with traveling every weekend I do not have the spare time I used to, especially for stories (February).
So, I am Kattitina. I enjoy all the arts, but I have not completed anything (except several one-shots) since I spend waaay to much time on this site. I am always up for reading new things unless it is incest because I have a sister I am really close to but I hold no romantic feeling for her. Also, I don't like summaries that give away the story. I currently don't HEART anything particular. If I do HEART it, or an author's many works, they are on my favorites.
When I took Japanese at the community college I got an A- in the third quarter as a Junior (High School), so I feel like I am qualified to write in Japanese. Scratch that. I am able to speak in Japanese, but not to read or write in it since I failed my entrance exam at the college I am going to. I probably wouldn't write in Japanese anyways because I hate it when people do that. Except, if the character is Japanese and they are talking to a love one they might say "aijin" instead of lover, koi, or any other sweet name like that. I feel that aijin is stronger than koi because ai is love and -jin is person/human, so it means love-person (aka Lover, and is also used as a term for a mistress).
My life is only quiet when I am at home. Since this will not happen for about 9 more months, you can expect my life to be very stressed. So, I am at college now. Yeah, it is kinda fun. I only go to two clubs this semester. My style is to take everything with a laugh or a smile. I am always making jokes at myself because I can't be wallowing in self-pity at any point in time. Unless it is to die on the floor because of cramps. Even then my motto is "Get to it, or at least pretend to." Taking everything with a smile also means I have learned the art of diligence when it comes to procrastination. Never work so hard you fall asleep, you get less done that way. And never totally blow off your work, that is just dumb.
I have a slight rant I need to post here because I see too many changed gender stories.
Soft Yaoi: When one of the guys is turned into a girl and starts liking guys. Soft Yuri is when a female turns male and starts liking gals. To write soft yaoi/yuri is to say “I really like this pairing but I am too scared for someone to find out I do to write it as it should be written". If a girl turned into a guy and still liked guys it would be different because it would be natural. If a lesbian turned into a guy who still liked girls, that would also be different, as it would be soft het instead. Changing the gender does not equal changing the sexuallity. Don't support soft yaoi! Be proud to write about love in different forms! Also, be sure to add in both het and yuri to your yaoi stories. Not all the world is gay after all.
Oh, check out my other rants on livejournal: kattitina.livejournal. That should do it, just remember to at the com at the end.
Favorites: I like a lot of things. Dislikes: This could be as long as my favorite's list.
Stories (In Progress) Bold means it is my most pressing story at the moment. Italics means I want to work on it. Underlined means it is the one I am working on.
ST (Silver Threads) In which most of the Harry Potter cliches are used and there is still an actual story. Meaning Harry is a girl, Snape is the father, the Potters are still alive, Helen (Girl!Harry) is a creature who later turns into a boy. And to top everything off she (or he depending on how you look at it) has to save two worlds, one from her evil!male!self. Good thing she has Draco. Collab with Lyra.
I really am planning to write these. In fact, I will deny any other fan fiction plot if I have to. . . Which is probably a lie.
Stories that are COMPLETE! Which means my one-shots I did in a day each. And used so as to not write my actual stories. I have taken down the ones without reviews. You can find them on my LJ, eventually.
YWM (Years Worth of Memories): The result of listening to folk and new age songs, particularly Scarborough Fair (which I had stuck in my head), and thinking about how pretty FFCC was as compared to Tales of Symphonia. Basicly one traveler thinks about the Leuda Caravan and slight adventures. One-shot
Creation: Farore, Din, and Nayru are creating and populating Hyrule. Covers all humanoid races. No plot. One-shot. P.S. Shadow lady is a cameo for the godess of the shadow realm in TP. (Moved to LJ)
Locked Up: Sora writes about one of his hardest times. Aimed at teenagers. No pairing. Based on fact. A KH Story.
A Mother's Wisdom: Rapunzel believes that Mother does not, in fact, know best. Even when the Queen really does. Tangled story. K+ for crushing the idea that there can be Love at First Sight.
Truth About England: I'm sure that writting it at midnight didn't help me get what I meant to say across clearly, and I will go back and make sure I have my facts checked. Just right now, far too much to do to bother with that.
Final Note: I believe that FF should let you chose one character that is not in your story or in a story you want to read. I would then choose OC when ever I went to the HP section. and OC should be in every section.
