My name is Grace, and I'm a huge One Piece fan. More than that, though, I seriously enjoy the yaoi pairings, and ZoroxSanji in particular. There is no real logical reason for that, other than that they are both clinically too hot for words. In fact, it should probably be illegal.

Recently, I have also developed this soul-crushing love for House, M.D., and the subsequent House/Wilson pairing (adorable abbreviation: Hilson). So, yeah. Will be experimenting with that.

I had to update again, since I find it pertinent to let you folks know when I develop knew and all-consuming obsessions. Next up on the plate is Sherlock Holmes (and we'll just let previous tastes inform as to which pairing I support, wink wink nudge nudge.) This one, rather unsurprisingly, sprung up from my intense love of House, when I finally realized (thanks to the wonders of Wikipedia) that House is very heavily inspired by Holmes -- the names themselves are a pretty big hint. That, and House's address. So anyway, I Wikipedia'd Sherlock Holmes, because I obviously knew who he was, but not much more than that, and after reading a few entries i was struck with this notion of "OMG I MUST READ NOOOOOOOOOOW!!" So I bought a copy of it from Amazon that day, and read it rather voraciously. I also started putzing around with the BBC Granada series, and prior to RDJ, I feel Jeremy Brett is the greatest Holmes of all time (although I say that without ever having seen a Rathbone film or really any other rendition whatsoever. To say I am biased is a gross understatement.) Then the 09 movie came out, and I profess myself to be a purist in things such as this, so I was nervous, but I feel RDJ and JL carried the thing off marvelously. One of my favorite films of all time, I think. And though David Burke and Edward Hardwicke are admirable Watson's (both from Granada) I must say that Jude Law is pretty much the be-all end-all of Watson interpretations. Plus, he's hot. But that truly is just a side-benefit. Anywho, I may be tampering with that shortly, and ruining yet another great work of literary/anime/TV show/any sort of achievement whatsoever. Please enjoy my blasphemy.

Also also, for no reason at all, I feel I should inform you that, as of right now, the pairing abbreviation for Holmes/Watson fluctuates between Hotson (which I think is adorable, much like Hilson) and Shwatsonlock. I sincerely wish I were making that last one up, but it does seem to be catching on in the LJ comms. And I weep.

My best friend, VioletCrush (I really wish I new how to do HTML cuts in this format) recently got me in to the anime Soul Eater, as well. I have not yet felt inspired to write anything for this, but you really just never know.
