Being a Honks shipper, I've noticed that good Honks is hard to find. So far I've only found one readable fic that doesn't suffer from the "quick and easy" problem I mentioned earlier, and that's an AU where Harry and Tonks are the same age(Author's Page). So, the other day I decided that if nobody else was going to fix the problem, I'd have to be the one to do it. The genesis of "Harry Potter and the Black Hearted Auror" was really that simple. This isn't my first fanfic, but it's my first in years, and the others are no longer available as I was writing them with a friend who took them all down. So, I've got a good deal of ideas stored up that I want to use in this one. In addition, I'll probably be posting a one-shot and a ficlet every now and then as well.

Don't be surprised if you see me commenting on quite a bit of HP, either. Eventually I'm thinking about doing a bit of beta reading in addition to my own writing. I'm not a master of grammar(obviously), but I've got a good eye for homonyms and I'm good at catching canon mistakes. Plus I just love a good story and I like to help out wherever I can.
