I cut my writing teeth as a young teen in the wild days of in the early aughts, now back in it as a 30-something. I write for work, but boring stuff, so this is my creative outlet. Currently writing and mostly reading in the Twilight universe, but I jump around a bit when the mood strikes. I love just about anything with a slow burn, some serious tension, and lots of chemistry between charismatic leads, and a little supernatural twist on the real world is always fun. Outlander, Marauders era HP, a bit of Hunger Games here and there... In the non-fandom realm, I love James Baldwin, Hemingway, Hilary Mantel, Nabokov, Madeline Miller, Philip Roth, Jane Austen, the Brontes...but also commercial historical fiction and really bad reality TV (helloooo Love Island!). Hope to someday write my own novel...but for now, I enjoy playing with someone else's creations. Work is cross-posted to AO3 under the same username. |
