14/06/12: It's back to Noctis calling Cloud for girl advice. _
15/08/12: Someone is coming... a figure Darker than BLACK.
AutoBio: I've been away from FFN for a long time due to a lack of motivation and a general loss of inspiration. My writing hit a snag while writing Porta Interpono's 11th chapter and I have been trying to get it back. It hasn't been because I forgot about it. Believe me, it's been a nagging sensation in the back of my mind ever since I had to put it away. Right now I am debating on whether I should expand my Shingeki no Kyojin fic to be more than a one shot and just how I'm going to get to where I want Porta to be.
As for an autobio... I have a lot of fandoms that have no limitation in range. Since there are so many, I obviously, do not write for them all. Mostly this is because I have nothing to add in the way of fanfics to them. Most times, my motivation is to simply contribute when I think a fandom I adore doesn't have enough fics to support it on here or I can't find what I personally need in canon and there hasn't been anything by way of fanfiction either.
The goal is to write something with substance. In an age where ANYone can typed out a few words and hit the post button, I feel that writing has hit a decline as an artform. Having a writing program does not make you a writer, like simply having a camera does not automatically make you a photographer. It doesn't have to be poetry but words need to be written with a certain fluency that I feel is lacking in what I read now (either published works or posted ones). This is what I keep in mind when I write and it's probably why I haven't been able to finish my poor crossover fic! XD
Side note: It absolutely tickles me that Thaman still gets some traffic. I still believe in the story and the messages in it, it's just the ... ack! I feel bad for the readers who have to read how horribly written it is. I can't even promise that I'll rewrite it because it would be a complete retouching that I do not have time for.
Regarding LJ users: If you would like to add me to your Friends List, please let me know. If I don't know who you are, I'll most likely not add you to my friend's list. Just let me know who you are and I will have a separate Group List made up that will be visible to you.
Character names in earlier FFXV (formerly known as FFvsXIII):I would just like to note that though we have names for the three friends now, I will NOT be changing the names within my fics. The reason for this is because they were the characters as I had seen them and not what they actually are. They were merely interpretations.
Fic Translations There have been several instances where readers have asked me whether I would give them permission to translate any of my fics. I would like to post it here on My Profile, that I will decline any of these requests. There were some heavy issues that arose when Noctum was being translated into Chinese and I will not have that repeated. It is very humbling and touching to have people offer to translate your work and I am very thankful that there are those who would volunteer to do such an endeavor, but I cannot accept.
For Sentio Omnium: As mentioned in the Epilogue, I have posted up the complete list of every prompt that involves The Lost, The Undead, The Dragon Knight and The Distortion series in story chron order, at my LJ. \O/
08/12/13: I canNOT believe it's been since February since I've posted anything. Profile needs revamping (which will happen in the coming week) and I have to do justice to my Noctis/Hei fic. My return comes with a Rivaille and Mikasa fic, which I hope is received well.
07/01/14: A Time Between gets a second chapter. I had originally intended it to be a one shot with a tentative thought to adding something later and then... BAM! Here we are with a second addition. From reading the manga, we know that a lot of stuff is going on that the readers are not privy to and when they come to light they're presented in such a way that it's not a surprise to the characters but it totally floors the readers. I know I've thought, "That came out of NO where!", while reading the manga. This story is kind of like that. Little scenes between Mikasa and Rivaille that would not be mentioned in the manga and then later, BAM! Left turn out of nowhere. So, I am trying to keep this as in canon as I possibly can and only add scenes that I think could (emphasis on could) have happened. We'll see how long that lasts since this is a fanfic. LOL!
I know the majority of Shingeki fans are Mikasa/Eren shippers but I can't ship them. I've tried. He's just SO mean to her and then that bit about his feelings toward Annie (that I did not sense AT all while reading the manga or watching the anime) and I just could NOT ship them. Even that close to death scene where Mikasa is confessing (mentioned in the fic), Eren's reaction isn't exactly romantic. Not to me anyway. I do think Eren cares a lot about Mikasa. I just don't think it's in the romantic sense.
20/02/14: There was no room in the previous chapter of the manga to get a scene to fit but this one gave me some leeway. I am still trying to keep this as in canon as I possibly can while also considering the Rivaille spin off series that's currently being published in Aria. It's difficult when both the original and spin off are currently still on going but I'm still having a lot of fun with these and I've been very satisfied with how they're turning out. Hopefully these will grow further. Right now it's the building of the "foundation" of their relationship.
09/02/14: After waiting months for the manga to give me an opening to write another chapter of A Time Between it still hasn't happened. -sigh- Hopefully next month. I just wanted to let everyone know why there hasn't been an update in months. It's not that I haven't wanted to write more, it's that the manga hasn't given me a chance.
