Hi, fan of fanfiction, this spark187,

I have been writing since as far back as can remember. I'm Fifty-Two. I am a college graduate. I've taken time off my regular job to finish my masters degree in literature. I've been writing fanfiction for several years just for my own pleasure. I never thought of posting anything until I found this site. I also write my own original stories as well. I'd love to hear from anyone who is an X-men, Chipmunk or Rugrats fan. X- Men has been my favorite comic since I was four. My grandfather used buy them for me when I was a kid. He died in 1993. So when I get a new issue and read it I almost feel he looking over my shoulder. It was one thing that we always shared that was just for us. So writing X-men fanfiction is a great thrill for me.

I've also been Chipmunk fan for as long as I can remember. It was the only cartoon my mother and I would watch together.

Favorite books: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter books, Earthsea, Maia (out of print), Daughter of the forest, The Red Tent, The Blending series

Favorite bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bare Naked Ladies, Kill Hannah (luv the song Lips like morphine), My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects

Movies: just about all Marvel films, except the first Hulk film. He just didn't look real. All the Harry Potters movies, Stars Wars (all six, seven if you count The Ewok Adventure. Does anyone remember that one?) 300 (I love any movie on Greek history) Clash of the Titans (I know, I know, it's old, but it's a classic) Shadow of a Doubt (can't go wrong with Hitchcock) There's more, but I can't think of any more right now!

What do I do when I'm not writing: I do Craft projects.
