Author has written 10 stories for The Santa Clause, and Mentalist.
PSA: So I'm not on hiatus, just in case Frostmas readers were wondering! I had an unfortunate incident with my laptop at the beginning of the Summer of 2016. I tripped on the charger and it toppled off of the peninsula and onto the stone floor, and my hard drive was decimated. I lost everything. I spent a good portion of the summer trying to fix it but it's shot. My computers won't reformat it so I've absolutely lost everything. I spent the summer and a good portion of Autumn trying to recover (because life threw all my bad karma I had built up at me this year, it's been brutal) and rewrite my notes, and regather my stories from the various internet spaces they were living on. I've tried about everything for my hard drive, but it seems like it's done for. Now of course I've got everything saved to oneDrive, so if it happens again, I won't be as thrown out as I was before. I may still take my harddrive to the IT people on campus or Canada Computers to try and see if I can at least make it usable. Needless to say, though I lost a lot of stuff, I've just about gotten up to speed now! I'm not at my 100 percent but I'm better than I've been all year. Maybe at like a solid 85%.
Thank you so much for reading this little PSA, and for still reading Frostmas and CS and all those stories, even while I've been dormant for almost a year now. I'm back, so is Frostmas, and thank you for just sticking around, really!
Frostmas Year Six AN: My heart is racing, I finished year six like 10 minutes ago (1:48 AM December 16th) and it is 14188 words. I am honestly so sorry about the length and hope that if anything, it is at least a decent apology for the long break in updates. Year Six took me much longer than I should've to write, because I had to rewrite the bit of Year Six that I already had written prior to the death of my laptop. I started rewriting it when I got mad at myself for being so sad in August, but then ran out of steam and just couldn't do it because I kept comparing it to what I remembered having already written, and thought that it was not as good as it originally was and never would be. It wasn't until I got back to Kingston, fixed my prescription and began taking the time I needed to help myself feel better (seriously my Summer was a train wreck) that I was able to slowly trudge through what I began to call the hump--everything I had already written and had to rewrite.
After getting through the semester, in November I began planning the Years again. And I was determined to get through the hump. I had already written stuff for Year SEVEN and had Year Eight basically written in full in note form. I just had to get through the hump. And so by the first week of December, I did it! And then just had all the new content to write...which was a LOT especially because Jacqueline decided to break into Bernard's house! I promise, Year Seven won't be as delayed as Year Six. And I really hope you enjoyed all 14k of that Chapter! And most importantly thank you for sticking around this long, it really means a lot to me :D

I enjoy: Reading and writing, sleeping, playing very old MMO's (such as MapleStory and Puzzle Pirates), off in a fantasy land or cuddled up in blankets because really, who wants to move around? That's where you can usually find me if I'm not at my desk or walking home from school really fast because home is wayyy better than a sweaty lecture hall with people who don't shut up during lecture so you can actually hear the prof!

The Santa Clause
Meet The Frosts [Complete]
After all the trouble Jack Frost has caused with his 'Frostmas' ideas, Mother Nature needs help restoring balance. And who else should help her fix what Frost caused but none other than the Frost's, themselves? Takes place during SC3. Origin story of sorts for Jack. A prequel to an upcoming story involving the aftermath of Jack's Thaw.
Reflections [Complete; One-Shot]
Jack Frost was about to freeze Lucy, when he changed his mind. What caused him to change his mind? (One-Shot/Drabble. Literally under 200 words [maybe]. Takes place during said scene in SC3. K plus because the word 'blood' is used once. Better safe than sorry).
While working on MTF I was watching TSC3 again and then I noticed him hesitate and thought why would he do that? He'd freeze Santa if he could get away with it! And then I found my explanation with my OC's.
Jack has a secret. A terrible, awful secret. And when the North Pole is noticeably warming up and on the brink of melting, his new relationships on the fritz, he’s forced to share. The solution? His family back home in Crystal Springs, of course. Healing old wounds won’t be easy, especially with a new, ancient threat targeting not only Jack’s family but the North Pole and Christmas itself—using his sister, Jacqueline, unbeknownst to everyone—including her—to spread the chaos. (Post SC3//MAJOR OC’s Warning)
Currently being edited to be up to par with Frostmas! I have chapter titles now, so if a chapter has a title that isn't Chapter , it's been edited! Read: rewritten...because it seems that's where my brain is taking me, rewriting while editing!
Dream story COMPLETE! It focuses on Jack Frost, who has been thawed, and in my canon, the change is permanent. His powers seem to have shorted out; so naturally, shit happens and the council doesn't know what to do--they think he's going back to his old ways. So, he admits his secret and the Legate Law is enacted--and enter Jacqueline, Jack's sister and Legate (second in command). Eventually, the duo end up back at home and cue family shenanigans until the real plot thickens and the baddie comes out to play.
Into the Shadows [Formerly Dark Shadows. In Progress; Updates will resume eventually (sorry)]
Determined to take over the family business—but not wanting to throw his dad off a roof—Charlie Calvin is hell bent on finding another way, as he enters his first year of University. When he learns about the Legate Law, he convinces his dad to abolish the Clause and make him his Legate. Dark times, however, have fallen over the magical population—what started as a few missing magical folk in Crystal Springs has escalated—now, Council Members are disappearing, Legates having to step in. When all of magical kind is threatened, Charlie must learn what it truly means to be a Legate, prove himself to the others and find himself before he becomes next in line for the warm red coat.
The synopsis went through like 8.1 changes; the above is the first one. The actual summary is what is the actual synopsis on the actual story. Yeah that made more sense in my head. Anywho, when I came up with the Legate Law I slowly thought of Legates for the other council members; a "younger" bunch of magical folk, they're not as respected within the magical community and it's something they have to face quite a bit in their day to day life. So combine that self-doubt with missing family members, an angsty 24 year old guy who wants to be a Legate but has lost his inner child and whimsical sense, and their own personal struggles and you have a recipe for an angsty pile of magical sass and coming-of-age sort of storylines. And that is what Into the Shadows basically is, mewha. The updates have stopped because I have to sort out the timeline stuff and get at least 3 chapters ahead; then I'll resume the schedule. On top of this tough, I'm also rewriting my original story Remnants and writing TTYoF so yeah, a wee bit stretched for time currently what with exams ;)
The Twelve Years of Frostmas [In Progress; Year Six UP!!!)
Nobody but he and I knew the truth. Jack wasn't supposed to be Santa; I wasn't supposed to be Jack Frost. He thought being Santa would fix everything-but he was horribly mistaken.
My take on Jack's reign as Santa during those Twelve years between TSC and TSC 3 when Jack pulls the Escape Clause, told from Jacqueline's point of view. One of the many questions during my rebuilding of Jacqueline and watching of TSC3 was who was Jack Frost when Jack was Santa? The answer--my OC, his sister Jacqueline. Told from her POV many years after CS and ITS, Jacquie documents the downward spiral of Jack--and herself--and how the Pole went from how we all know and love it to a theme park. Angry Jacqueline and Sassy Santa!Jack, basically. It's my little treat to myself, I love writing angry Jacquie and exploring the we-don't-forgive-you path of all the Frosts in regards to Jack. Especially with Jacqueline.
The Marvelous Misadventures of Elle and Jacquie: Frozen [Complete; One-Shot]
Jacqueline finally convinces Elle to go see Disney's "Frozen" with her, much to her surprise. Of course, the girls fall in love with the movie and shenanigans ensue. [Slightly AU-ish to Crystal Springs/Takes place after the story/FROZEN SPOILERS AHEAD. BIG ONES. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED/OC Usage].
A little long one-shot that got stuck in my head when etiquette-faux-pas mentioned having seen Frozen (finally) and pictured efp's OC Elle and Jacqueline reenacting the scenes throughout the movie. I sent her a little snippet in chat form and then it turned into a full blown idea and so I wrote it and posted it. It happens after Crystal Springs though I'm trying to fit it in the timeline I have set up for myself--TSC3 was in 2006, and CS is after that (so like 2007 ish I suppose), so there's a significant time gap between that and Frozen (2013). So it's slightly AU-ish! But a fun borderline crack fic I wrote ;). I should be part of smile shots now but meh, I am lazy.
Smiles [One-Shot Library; in progress]
"Smile! Make this memory a good one!" [A giant one-shot dump focusing on Jack and his family, with occasional other character appearances].
I get a lot of wacky ideas when it comes to Jack and his family, once they've reconnected. Smile is a place for me to put all of those little one-shots! Here's a table of contents of sorts ;)
1. Laundry Day: Jack neglected to do his laundry. The result? Really old clothes that prove to be a source of amusement for everyone.
2. Bacon: When Jacqueline told Elle that Fino and Jack literally fought for the last piece of bacon, she meant it...
3. Beware the Slushy Heart: Seeing Disney's Frozen makes Jacqueline feel all slushy inside, unfortunately for Fiera...
4. Movie Night: Jack is once again complaining about his lack of holiday TV specials. Much to Jacqueline's glee, she has a movie that may finally stop his seasonal complaining
5. Winter's Birthday I-The Idea: Now that the family is all together again, Blaise wants to do something special for Winter's birthday. Enlisting Jack's help, they decide to bring back Winterfest, an ancient city wide festival to welcome the winter season...though they only have 8 hours. What could possibly go wrong? [Takes place in 2008]
6. Winter's Birthday II-Plotting: Enlisting the help of his siblings, Jack hatches a plan to help keep Winter distracted while Blaise arranges Winterfest.
7. When Bernard Met Jacqueline: The year is 526 BCE. The Legate Law has been created and Bernard just so happens to meet one of the tiny Legates. An oddly strange friendship is the result.
The Legate Law: Every immortal that has acquired a mythical stature is required to have a Legate, a second in command, should anything happen to the original. Legates are required to be as close to the original legend as possible, thus the mortals are not confused. As a result, they are often alike in looks and if they are opposite sexes, have the opposite version of the name (For example, feminine version of Jack is Jacqueline), or a synonym to the name. Santa is the only exception. The Legate Law is not required for every immortal being, but having second in command is suggested.
MELT's (Magical Education Level Tests): Magical Education Level Tests. They are a requirement for all elemental immortals, and assign each a level based on their performance with their element. The levels are, in order: Able, Proficient, Distinguished, Respected, Master, Renowned, Grand-Master, and Legendary.
Note on Jacqueline and the Frosts:
Jacqueline Frost ended up being an OC that a lot of people love and ended up borrowing. If you would like to use her or any characters or concepts of mine please, message me and ask! I'd be more than happy to know how you'd like to use them and give my permission, so long as you give credit where due.
On that note, the lovely authors who borrowed Jacqueline Frost as well as the Frost family asked permission and somehow, I ended up working them all into my canon timeline for Jacqueline's Marvelous Misadventures. So if you wanna know a rough order, here it is:
There really is no rhyme or rhythm to the stories, but there are references to the events so yeah READ ALL THE SANTA CLAUSE FICS
Of Couches and Teacups [Complete; One-Shot]
Having finally gotten his couch back, Lisbon thinks it needs one more thing to make Jane feel at home. [Fluff. Originally posted on tumblr, thought I'd share it here. A possible "What if?" for after White Lines. Jisbon]. For some odd reason I've been barfing up Jisbon fluff, which I find hilarious because A) I ship them really hard and B) I can never get characters right personality wise when I haven't created them.
The Language of Flowers [Complete; One-Shot]
Lisbon walks into the FBI one morning to discover a bouquet of flowers—with no name, no letter—on her desk. When the flowers keep appearing, she's determined to figure out who's sending them--with a little help from Jane [Jisbon. Fluff. Really Long one-shot.]
I saw a gif of PJ picking the flowers in White Lines and someone talking about how hurt Lisbon must still feel and then this long piece of fluff happened.
Scout's Honour [One-shot]
Kim Fischer finds herself an unlikely confidante and quite possibly, a friend in one Teresa Lisbon. [Post-Black Helicopters; definite spoilers. KimxTeresa Friendship].
Scout's Honour documents the slowly blooming awkward friendship between Kim and Teresa. After watching Black Helicopters I thought that they'd be great friends, and their potential friendship is really amusing to me! I use to have a sort of backstory for Fischer but honestly I totally forgot it. So now Scout's Honour is just a one shot, sorry pals :)
MENTALIST FANFIC PSA
In regards to The Mentalist, I won't be posting multi chapter fics unless I really get inspired. Those few pieces of fluff were written right when inspiration hit; they will also be STAYING ONESHOTS. Please, don't ask me for more chapters or more writing, because I don't know if I'll be able to constantly write the Mentalist. The characters are too perfectly done, I wouldn't want to butcher them with forced writing. I DO APPRECIATE THE LOVELY FEEDBACK AND WANTS FOR MORE, THOUGH! I just can't write super well for the Mentalist unless I'm very inspired :)
Thank you for taking time to read this! Now, I give thee... the story box.
