PROFILE UPDATED AS OF 10/19/08

Hi, I'm TheHiddenWriter, and here's a few things about myself.

Personal Info: I'm a guy in high school right now, I like to hang out with friends, play video games, read, and write.

Favorite Movies: Star Wars, Spider-Man Trilogy, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and the Ocean's Trilogy.

Favorite TV Shows: 24, CSI: NY, Criminal Minds, Avatar: The Last Airbender, ER, Big Bang Theory

Favorite Books: Harry Potter, Eragon, Series of Unfortunate Events

Previous Writings (Before I came on here): I did some fan-fics in some gaming forums. I can't get the links because those accounts are long gone. But they were Legend of Zelda and Super Smash Brothers Fan-fics.

What Inspires Me: Ok, there are two things that inspire my writings.

1. Realistic: I like to imagine alot of things when it comes to stories and fan-fics. But I enjoy it the most when I can imagine it being a part of the actual story-line of the Movie/Show/Game/Book. I like feeling that connection, and it brings more enjoyment to me when I'm watching or reading the actual story the fan-fic is based on.

2. Alternate Story: I like to imagine, "Hey, what if this was happening during this story?" It usual happens if I'm listening to a song, (Sometimes the words, or sometimes the actual music itself.) and suddenly I start thinking about something different that could be happening with a show I just watched, or a book I read. I then start coming up with a long story in my head for awhile, and I get lost in it. But the key thing is with the story is that it sticks with the timeline of the other story. So let's say I was watching a new episode of a show, and I said, "Hey, what if this was happening at the same time." Well, I'd come up with the story, but I'd also make it so that whatever happens in the episode next, my story will still keep it's realism.

Since I'm an ATLA fan, what ship do I ship?: Let me be clear before I tell you guys anything, I chose my ships based off Personalities, and what couples the show is focusing on. (Either if they are going out, or if the show is hinting on them getting together.) Whatever happens during the finale, I'm gonna be ok with. So if Kataang happens, good for them. If zutara happens, good for them. If george or tokka happens, good for them. I'm ok with what the writers choose, because I just get into the story so much, I just like to get lost in it and trust the writers with the story. That said, here's what I ship.

Kataang: They're personalities are similar, and also balance out each others faults. I've yet to see any possible personality match between katara and zuko. If it comes up in the show, then I'll accept it. But I'm not into the idea of a ship being created because zuko's hot and "more mature", or because it would be more interesting to see them together. Or because everyone is sick of seeing the main guy and main girl get together. (Which I laugh at because zutara is cliche too.) If I see in the show a personality match STRONGER than aang and katara's, I'll switch sides. Until then, I'm staying kataang.

Tokka: No, I don't expect this to happen, but unlike zutara, we've been given hints about it, and toph and sokka's personalities match. Don't go all age difference on me, or tell me "It's cliche!". I don't care. I like it. But hey, if George happens, I'm ok with that too. Because either way, sokka is going to be happy. Guaranteed.

Maiko: Don't tell me it's a horrible ship that came out of nowhere. Watch Zuko Alone, and read the comic that came in-between season 2 and 3. It was going somewhere, and we were given hints. (Even in the first episode Mai appeared in, we were given hints.) Mai and Zuko both have similar personalities to each other, and have a history. Zuko is just as gloomy as Mai, let's face it.

Edit: Well, Tokka didn't make it, but 2 out of 3 isn't that bad.

Why choose "TheHiddenWriter" as your username?: I use a similar name in other forums, and because I'm a secretive guy when it comes to my personal life.

Previous Projects:

Winds and Waves: Taking place during The Boiling Rock, Aang and Katara spend some time together while Sokka and Zuko are away. Toph, meanwhile, accidently drinks Sokka's bottle of Cactus Juice, and starts to act very strangely. It features some Kataang Romance, and some Toph crush moments. But I'm making it so that no matter what happens in the last few episodes, it will still feel as if it actually happened in the ATLA storyline.

Testimonials for this Fan-Fic:

"I loved it!"

"Such a cool story!"

"This is a great story, good job!"

Leap of Faith (ATLA Fan-fic Short): Katara decides she's done with dating guys, so Aang decides to teach her a lesson about risks, which ends up with her and Aang skydiving. This story is written a tad differently than my other stories, but I decided to take a risk and write it anyway.

Testimonials for this Fan-Fic:

"ha ha, cute!"

"Too cute :D"

"That was awesome!"

Avatar: The Missing Link: For every avatar that's ever existed, records have been made to show the most important events in each avatar's lifetime. They records are written down by mysterious, powerful spirits in the spirit world. However, it only records information if it is close to the avatar during his/her journey. So the spirits choose a special person for every avatar that they call, "The Writer", and have him/her follow the Avatar secretly, allowing the mysterious forces to write the records of the Avatar's most important events. "The Writer" must not interfere with the events in the avatar's journey, and therefore, is not allowed to be seen by the avatar... ever. For Avatar Aang, the spirits have chosen a very special "Writer". One that doesn't come from any of the four nations... but instead, comes from a new, unseen land. See the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender in a new perspective, as we follow "The Writer" in his journey to make sure the Avatar's records are captured, while also taking on challenges that will change his life forever. Filled with twists, secrets, and adventure, it's a story that shows a whole different side to the avatar world. Prepare yourself for a whole new story un-like every before!

Testimonials for this Fan-Fic

"This could get very interesting..."

"You have proven me wrong, I didn't think I'd like this story... I love it it!"

10 ways to say I love you (Avatar Short): Aang gets into a small fight with Katara. To cheer him up, Iroh asks him to say a few reasons why he loves her. But Aang is unaware that Katara is near by, listening in on what he's saying.

Testimonials for this Fan-Fic:

"Cute!"

"This is so fluffy!"

"Another great story!"

What Love Really Means (Avatar Short): It's Aang's 16th birthday, and political leaders are forcing Aang to start the re-population of the air nation now that he is at a mature age. But Aang is not comfortable with the idea. This fan-fic is my first Rated M fan-fic.

Testimonials:

"I had tears in my eyes..."

"That was beautiful!"

Current Project:

Avatar: Broken Hearts: The Official Sequel to Winds and Waves, but actually doesn't make too many references to the story. This story is about multiple things. One, life for Aang and Katara after the events of the finale. Multiple people and events attempt to break the couple up, as Aang and Katara do everything they can to stay together. Two, it seems a mysterious person has broken into the fire nation prison. He has no interest in freeing Ozai... but instead Azula, who is locked up in a psychology ward in the prison. This mysterious man wishes to free Azula in order have her assist him with a secret mission... and it doesn't have to do with hunting Aang down. Now Zuko has to hunt down Azula, but is torn between chasing Azula, and staying with Mai, who has a death threat on her head. Three, the spirit world seems to be going insane this the events of the finale. Koh has attempted to take over the spirit world in a hostile take-over. He has taken multiple spirits hostage, including Yue. Sokka, after receiving a haunting message in his dreams one night, realizes he must figure out how to save Yue, and askes Iroh how to enter the spirit world. Suki, slightly jealous of Yue, but aware that she needs to be saved, offers to help Sokka on his quest as well. As all these events happen, Aang is asked by his friends to assist in their quests, causing Katara and him to figure out if they can still keep their relationship during these times. It's an epic story of Adventure, Romance, Suspense, Mystery... and will hopefully become one of the biggest ATLA fan-fics of all time.
