Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, X-overs, Twilight, and Phantom of the Opera.
Hullo. My name is mrs.ReverendTholomewPlague, in honour of the late, great James Sullivan of Avenged Sevenfold. He was quite possibley one of the greatest drummers out there, not beating John Bonham, of course. So, anyways, here's a little about my writing:
I prefer reading and writing AU fics, but the majority of my works are usual right on character. I like playing around with pairings, usually in the Harry Potter-verse. I also like to make the characters my own by giving them different personalities in each fic. I don't update often because I like to get my chapters just right before I post them (yes, I'm one of those writers. Deal with it :P).
A little bit about me: Well, I'm just another high school brainwashed teenager. I'm a cheerleader, a ballerina, a pianist, an ex-lacrosse player (due to extreme sexism in Northern California, I am no longer allowed to play JV boy's lacrosse), a writer (obviously) and a yoga enthusiast. I do it twice a day. Yay for flexibility! I'm also on my way to being fluent in German. I absolutely hate my generation and what our world has become. I adore period pieces, especially those set in the Middle Ages and the Victorian and Regency eras. They're a great escape. Modern day fics are kinda ehh in my opinion, though I have read a few I really liked.
Twilight: Okay, so I'm not exactly the biggest fan of the series. Well, that's an understatement, but my words for this piece of literature might not be appropriate. "Then why are you writing a Twilight fic?" you might ask. For one thing, I only like the Jared/Kim pairing. I think it's adorable and I, being a hopeless romantic, am still waiting for Prince Charming to sweep me off my feet. Also, a year ago I was WAY into the series. Then my mother started getting all Edward Cullen-gaga and I got just a little creeped out. So, my love for the shiny no-fanged vampires went POOF.
Phantom of the Opera: So, since I saw the musical first, most of my Phantoms will be Geriks. (What? Gerard Butler is a hottie extraordinaire.) Although, since I adore Leroux's mailicious, mentally unstable Erik, I will add his personality into the mix. Also, Erik will never, ever be not deformed. His cause for the deformity will vary, but he will never have the perfect face. If he did, there would be no story. Christine will always be the heroine of my story. She will always have a backbone and a voice, because Leroux's version was very timid and easy to sway. I do not like Raoul, but I won't have him always being the villian. Meg is one of my favorite characters because she stuck behind Christine, and she's also so much fun to write. I ship Erik/Christine, but I might add in a little Raoul/Meg, just so the fop isn't too lonely.
Harry Potter: Hermione has been, and always will be, my favorite character in the series, so I will base my stories off of her. She's so strong minded and she knows what she wants, which is so rare in women today. I hate the stories that make her gorgeous because let's face it, she's not beautiful. Pretty, yes, but drop dead gorgeous? No. She's not a slut either, and she should NEVER be one. I've always shipped Viktor/Hermione, because Stainslav is so freaking sexy. I also like the odd pairings, like Charlie/Hermione, Oliver/Hermione and Nott/Hermione. Never will the wizards be mortal. That just takes away from the point of the books. Hell-o.
So, read my stuff and review it. I have several POTO fics coming your way, but I'm still finishing them up. Also, Clumsy: Kim's Story will be updated regularly, as will Changing Charlie Weasley. I will not be continuing Talk of the Town, Crossroads or Learn to Fly, so if you're interested in adopting those, send me a PM or an email or a letter or a messenger or something.
UPDATE! July 29th, 2010 - OH MY BLOODY GOD. I'm am so very, very sorry for abandoning you all for the last seven months! Everything has been so hectic that I haven't had the time to write, and when I do, something comes up or I can't find the right words to put down. I am working very diligently on C:KS and I'm going to revise the second chapter of CSW. And thanks to everyone who has been pushing my butt to write something!
