The pomegranate is a contradiction.
It is sweet, but also tart. It is glistening rubies inside tough-as-nails wrinkled skin. Without petals, it is a flower. It is the fruit Persephone ate in the Underworld, yet it bloomed on the tree of life. It is order, and it is chaos.
It is the seeded apple in paradise from which knowledge sprung.
So have some pomegranate seeds. Each one is unique, a bit quirky, and entirely what you make of it.
