![]() Author has written 10 stories for Baldur's Gate. "Twelve Doors of the Soul" is my current fic, hiding away in the M section. I'm always happy to get feedback or reviews, so drop a line if you feel like it! Twelve Doors of the Soul-Following Finn and Anna through their adventures in Amn. Should be updated fairly regularly, depending on how busy/distracted I happen to be! The "twelve doors of the soul" idea was inspired by a very old Irish text that references different points in the body. Rated M. The Claw of Winter-A short story designed to bridge the gap between BG1 and Shadows of Amn. Finn is struggling to deal with the aftermath of Sarevok's defeat, living out a long and cold winter in Baldur's Gate. But then someone asks for his help... A Fragment of Substance-An AU-version of the BG1 story told from the viewpoint of Anna, a Beregost mage who agrees to help look into the source of the iron crisis. Mildly diverting trivia: Anna being from the Dalelands is a tribute to 'Curse of the Azure Bonds', the first D&D computer game I ever played, some millions of years ago. Sehanine's Veil-Xan tries to find solace after returning home to Evereska. The Birthday Party-Imoen's tale. A tie-in with Substance, I wanted to develop Imoen a little and get a better feel for how she thinks. I always thought she was underdeveloped in a lot of ways, such as how we're told she came to Candlekeep ten years later than the PC yet we're told nothing of her life before that. This story doesn't deal too much with her past, focusing instead on the ups and downs of life as a maid in the Candlekeep Inn. Natural Philosophy-A short fic chronicling the events that led to Irenicus' original fall from grace, done in a 19th-century Gothic style. Jon and Bodhi aren't blood siblings in this story; there were a few dialogues in the game that made me think they might not actually be related so I decided to play on the idea. 'Natural philosopher' is an old-fashioned term for 'scientist'. Other Tales-As the name implies, a collection of short stories about the characters of the Sword Coast. Three Watchers-Some of Xan's musings on the past and the present, and things in between. Set during BG1. Perspectives-A three part story dedicated to Finn's point of view as they travel the Sword Coast. He's the hero after all, so he deserves it! This one has an M rating. |
