'No one would listen,
No one but her,
Heard as the outcast hears.

Shamed into solitude,
Shunned by the multitude,
I learned to listen,
In my dark, my heart heard music.

I long to teach the world,
Rise up and reach the world,
No one would listen,
I alone could hear the music.

Then, at last, a voice in the gloom,
Seemed to cry "I hear you",
I hear your fears,
Your torment and your tears.

She saw my loneliness,
Shared in my emptiness,
No one would listen,
No one but her,
Heard as the outcast hears.

No one would listen
No one but her
Heard as the outcast hears...'

-- THE PHANTOM, No-One Would Listen -- tearful, tearful.

Oh, hello hello hello!

I have realized that this would be a pleasant time to update this - while I am on the verge of sleeping on my desk. Joking. Sort of. Anyway, my name's Jamie - hello - you may call me what you wish, I'm about as fussy as I am unkind.

That means I'm not, really. So, what about me? Well, I love writing. I love musicals. And I love music in general.

Yus, sorry. I am rather cliché. I do adore quite similar musicals to people - with Phantom, of course reigning as my number one. Love Never Dies, admittedly is in the top somewhere (although the ending is a shot to the system, I tend to just listen to 'Beneath the Moonless Sky' and melt) - Les Miserables, of course. Wicked. Legally Blonde - I'm sorry, I seem to be easily allured by the bright shade of pink. THE BOOK OF MORMON. - I've only listened to the music, but it's making me giggle already.

Three things you may wish to know about me? Well, I am a budding medical student (Christ. Budding makes it sound like a faraway dream) - I play the piano although I am terrible - I like FRIDAY BY REBECCA BLACK.

No, I wasn't serious. Sorry. I just - had a mind spasm. Anyway. I like to read and bake pies - it's a deathly combination, I tell you that much. I am your typical, kind, musical-loving recluse with the dark sense of humour and a cheery, patronizing smile to match. Oops. I think that made me sound quite mean.

Ignore me. Just return to the part where I said my name's Jamie.

Hullo.
