Making a conscious effort to bury any demons of his past for their sake was something altogether too mushy a thing to tell the rest of the Guardians about. But Rocket's life was practically two thirds of a dream now and he was not going to screw it up. His friends would have wanted him to be happy. Of course the problem with dreams was that sometimes you woke up to a nightmare.

A series of oneshots following Peter's life growing up with the Ravagers. Lots of Dad!Yondu taking care of Peter. No slash, no romance, no pairings of any kind. Just good, old-fashioned found family.

What If... Peter was never picked up by Yondu? Peter gets glimpses of a life he never lived, a future with a green woman who looks familiar, space fairing adventures with ships and blasters. He might be crazy, but he's fine with it. Rating will go up for Chapter 3.

At least I tried to. I got caught and was offered an alternative. Join Yondu Udonta's crew or be eaten. If I joined, my units would go to Mom's care. Nobody said I'd be a baby-sitter for a kid!

Rocket lost everyone, except Floor. A shot goes a little to the left and Floor survives to escape with Rocket.

Ghosts from Rocket Raccoon's past have returned and are picking off the High Evolutionary's ex-employees. It also happens to be on another Earth holiday, Halloween. Will the Guardians' first Halloween be just as wild as their first Christmas? Will they be able to solve the spooky mystery they have on their hands? Either way, there's certain to be some great music in store for them.

After Rocket breaks out of Counter-Earth, he is rescuedby another of the High Evolutionary's experiments, and a fellow raccoon, Captain Sale. As he soon learns she is far from the innocent, hopeful experiments of Batch 89.

The Otter stared at the sky from the roof of her home, arm outstretched above her. Flesh and fur, then for a moment thin and metal, just like in her dreams. Dreams of the cage, the pain, her friends. She missed them, even if she didn't know why. After all they were just dreams. Far off, a fallen god watches the upstart creation that toppled him. Waiting to reveal his final secret.

As the original work is very much an ensemble piece, I'm writing this as a shifting focus story, focusing on one character or the relationship between two characters per chapter and shifting frequently. In the time between Liljedahl and their meeting with Yondu, Peter decides to introduce his friends to an old Earth tradition. Signing casts. Another aside from my story Astronautical, set between chapters 6 and 7. This one doesn't really stand alone.

Peter Quill, Rocket, and Groot go on an adventure to find Gamora, who has mysteriously gone missing. To do this the group must face dangers, trials, and cupcake delivery men(long story). Peter and his friends must find an orb, but it's in different parts all over the galaxy. And when they do find Gamora, will she ever be the same?

It's Yondu's birthday, but he doesn't feel like celebrating. Luckily his crew has a surprise planned for him. Spoilers for GOTG vol. 2, mild language.

When Peter inadvertently leads the team into more trouble than they can handle, cracks begin to show, and Rocket has to face his greatest fear. Sequel to "Detonation Imminent", but it's not necessary to read that one first.

Ego left Peter a legacy after all. In the distant future, he shoulders the burden with the help of Rocket: his one surviving teammate and one saving grace.

Rocket Raccoon is still recovering from his abduction at the hands of a cold, unfeeling business man. Now it looks like someone else is out to get him. Rocket's fellow Guardians will do anything to protect him, but this kidnapper has strange abilities that will make saving their furry little friend very difficult for them. It's Groot's birthday. Okay, it hasn't been anywhere near a year since he sprouted, and the whole concept of a year is kind of meaningless in space anyway, but Peter just really wants to throw a birthday party for Groot, what's wrong with that?

Rocket keeps himself busy by inventing things. The materials for these inventions have to come from somewhere though, much to his shipmate's frustration. "We're not exactly floating in units Gamora," Peter said. "Until our next job, we're broke. Rocket was just using what we have available on the Milano-" "Like how he used the life support system to build that bomb?"

AU that uses the concept of "daemons" from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series. Peter's daemon takes a form unknown to everyone he meets in space, until one day on Xandar...

Peter's trying to figure out how to be a leader. He decides that breaking into the Avengers' base of operations is a good place to start.

My tribute to the British sci-fi comedy classic Red Dwarf, starring the Guardians. Chapter 8: what is reality? That's the question Peter faces when a talking raccoon and an even more verbose tree show up at his apartment and claim he's not a test pilot in the Nova Corps after all. And they need his help to find the rest of the team and bring them home.

On their way to rescue Peter from Yondu, Rocket fumes and ponders over life.

"It would have been so much easier to blame all of this on Quill (and mind you, he still might!), but if he had to be completely honest with himself, Rocket Raccoon was pretty sure the whole thing had started because he couldn't keep his claws off a great piece of artillery." Rocket is kidnapped by someone who believes that there is nothing in the world money can't buy.

"I am Groot?" Rocket bared his fangs in protest, but one look at Groot's face and he sighed. Of course Groot would figure it out, who was he kidding? He looked away. "Yeah," he mumbled. "Nightmare."

Peter saw the buckets of slime sitting in the corner of the room and grimaced. "How's he doing?" Rocket didn't look up, pulling away and wringing more slime from the cloth. His teeth were bared. "He's oozing out shit from his fucking orifices. He's doing great." Rated T for swearing.

Short. Perhaps some Earth celebrations are worth celebrating. A Valentine's Day special.

When a mixtape breaks, who else can fix it other than our favorite not-raccoon? Set after Ronan was killed and Groot is back to his full size.

Mycroft has always protected his younger brother, but there are some things he just can't control. Sherlock's relationship with John Watson is one of them. Set during the first two seasons of Sherlock, with all the spoilers that would entail.

When John heads overseas for a week, Sherlock's forced to fend for himself. It goes about as well as anyone could have anticipated. Which is to say, very, very poorly. Don't worry, things'll be fine in just seven days.

John's been having nightmares. Sherlock's starting to notice. No matter how hard you try, you can't hide your fears from people who love you, but maybe you shouldn't try. Don't worry, everything'll be okay once they manage to get some sleep.
