Hi there, I'm ExDee, a 20-something male DevOp (software developer / systems administrator) who enjoys anime and gaming.
While I don't write fan fiction stories myself, I do read many here. If you're an author, you should know that I have a guideline I follow when adding stories and authors to my favorites list. At such a time as I decide to add three stories from the same author to my favorites, I will instead opt to add that author to my favorites. Now, I hate clutter and superfluity, so when this happens, I also remove any stories by said author from my favorites.
Please do not take this to mean that I have changed my mind about your stories. On the contrary, it's basically like telling anyone who happens to view my profile "hey, check out everything by this author", rather than "hey, check out these select stories by this author".
Oh, and if you're going to post a romance story and not take the time to properly tag the romantically-involved characters, there's a 99% chance I'm not going to read it. If you leave the character tags undefined, that says to me that you're not interested in people finding your story by filtering for the given pairing. If the fic in question is a side-story to another fic and is still tagged as a romance story, but does not include one or both of the paired characters in the actual scenes, I will ignore your story. If you define two characters and they are involved with two original characters, respectively, I'll ignore your story. The only exception to this is when the pairings are clearly given in the description of the story.
That's all for now. I'll leave you with a list of my favorite pairings. The series and pairings therein are in no particular order.
