Author has written 5 stories for Twilight, Harry Potter, and Bones.
So it's been forever since I've updated this which is quite sad because a lot has changed. I also know that I haven't written anything new in a while (ok, so I did just post What's Meant To Be, but I wrote that...over three years ago, so it's not new to me). I've been busy (I know I know, that's what they all say), but seriously. School took over my life even more than it had in the past this year, and it's only going to get worse come September. I am working on something though, actually three somethings; two Harry Potter and one Bones.
I'm a sixteen year old small town girl with dreams that are bigger than this town. I love history more than anything and would give anything to visit Europe. I love reading, writing, and good TV but find that I have less and less time for it every year. I have an interesting relationship with writing. I think I would be better suited as a screen writer because I love dialogue and it comes easy to me, plus when I get an idea, I see it played out in my head like a movie. I see everything completely as I want it to be. My problem is describing what is going on and the setting because I feel like everyone sees what I see so there is really no point in explaining it. I am a light booth and occasional backstage techie and love every minute of it. Drama club has changed my life in ways I can't begin to explain. I can be random or serious, a loner or a people person, a little bit of everything. As Sawyer would say, "I'm a complicated (wo) man, Sweetheart". I mostly read Bones and Harry Potter fics, but I will occasionally branch out to other fandoms.
Lost- I watched from the very first episode when I was in 5th grade, it's always going to be one of my favorites.
Bones- Love, love, love this show.
Castle- Yes, it copied Bones, but I think that's partly why I love it. Besides, Nathan Fillion is amazing.
Friends- A classic, and a generally feel good show.
How I Met Your Mother- Watched all five seasons this summer and fell in love with it.
Glee- Yup, I watch it. I heard Jonathan Groff was going to be on it so I watched all the old episodes, then I fell in love with it. But I'm a theatre kid, it's in my blood.
The Office- I didn't watch much of this past season, but I loved the old seasons. It's going to be horrible once Steve Carell leaves. There's no Office without Michael.
Alternative- The Rocket Summer, All Time Low, Mayday Parade, A Rocket to the Moon, The Summer Set, Motion City Soundtrack, We The Kings, Every Avenue, Cartel, The Academy Is..., Acid Eyeliner (who are now My Future Lies, but Acid Eyeliner is a better name and how I know them so that's who they are to me), The Morning Of, Artist Vs Poet, Jack's Mannequin, Automatic Loveletter, Blue October, and others
Soundtracks-I LOVE musicals! Like I said, theatre kid. Spring Awakening (which I am most likely seeing off Broadway in April) RENT, Wicked (which I saw on Broadway in '09), Avenue Q, American Idiot (which I am hopefully seeing in October!), Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog (which doesn't really fit here, but it fits here better than anywhere else) and some others.
Others- MIKA, Kate Voegele, Pink, Michelle Branch
Not the biggest movie person, but I love When Harry Met Sally, (500) Days of Summer, Inception (which I just saw and all I can say is WOW), Ballet Shoes, Harry Potter, National Treasure, He's Just Not That Into You, and some others, but like I said, not a big movie person.
Harry Potter, Great and Terrible Beauty Trilogy, House of Night, Beastly, Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes, Rewind, Thirteen Reasons Why, Unwind, The Night I Disappeared, Second Glance, and my new favorite which I absolutely love; The Shadow of the Wind. I had to read it for school, but it is truly amazing! Also, I haven't had much time to read lately which sucks. And yes, I did read Twilight. Yes, I was a fangirl, but then Breaking Dawn and the movies came out, and it got over done.
Yes, I do realize that I contradict myself with the whole Sawyer/Juliet Kate/Sawyer, Ted/Robin Robin/Barney and Charlie/Tonks Lupin/Tonks ships, but seriously I see the good in both pairings. I loved Kate with Sawyer in the beginning, but then he was with Juliet which is just ADORABLE and I fell in love. Besides, Juliet needs some loving. With the Robin situation, I know that Ted and Robin don't end up together which is part of the reason why I think I like them so much. You are told in the first episode that these two don't work out, yet you see them working out on so many occasions that you can't help but like them together. Robin and Barney are just so cute together, and it's really nice to see Barney act like such a different person when they're together. Charlie/Tonks is one of my absolute favorite ships if it is done right. I see them as Ron and Hermione but with missed chances. They're actually the pairing for one of the fics I'm currently working on. However, I do like Lupin/Tonks, mostly because I like Lupin so much and want him to be happy.
My Biggest Fan Fiction Pet Peeves:
Songfics that are more song than story.
not using capitals. especially when it is in first person so i is used a lot.
Discontinued stories that are many chapters but don't tell you they are discontinued and leave off on a cliffhanger.
Authors who get sick of stories but continue to write them anyway.
Authors who completely change the idea of their story halfway through.
"Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet."
"No one will ever win the battle of the sexes. There's too much fraternizing with the enemy."
"Courage, sacrifice, determination, commitment, toughness, heart, talent, guts. That's what little girls are made of; the hell with the sugar and spice."
"Love is like flashlight tag- just another game played in the dark."-Me
"It's like I realized that way down inside, I've always been lonely for something. But I don't know what for. It's like everybody in the world wants something only they never really know exactly what it is- they just keep finding out what it's not. You know how, when you turn off the TV or you come out of some concert, and everything just feels...empty? Like you thought that would be what you wanted, and then it wasn't."
"I saw them standing there pretending to be just friends, when all the time in the world could not pry them apart."
"Well-behaved women rarely make history."
If you took the time to read all that, if you skimmed it, or if you just scrolled right to the end, please read my fics and as always, please review!
