Author has written 7 stories for Transformers, and Transformers/Beast Wars. "Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons." - General MacArthur Current Mood: Existing. Favorite Quote for the Time Being: "Airspeed, altitude and brains. Two are always needed to successfully complete the flight." Personal Motto: "Nunquam trado, nunquam defungo!" (Never surrender, never quit!) Hey everyone! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jess and I am now a 32 year-old overworked professional. I entered the world of Transformers eleven years ago via my ex-husband. Long story. Anyways, my Transformers 101 education began with G1 and has been going strong ever since. I'm a solid Decepticon follower and dedicated Seeker-fangirl. Actually, let's just say I have a penchant for any Decepticon that has an attitude and goes against the status quo. I volunteered as a firefighter for my community for almost eight years. I've always been an action-oriented kind of person, so firefighting became first pick when it came down to community service projects back in high school. It has been a side profession that has stuck with me ever since then (and probably always will remain with me). I also volunteered 5 years of my life to the uniform services. As you read my stories you may see some snippets of the processes I went through to try and become a pilot...Ultimately I did fly, but NOT as a pilot. I served as a crewmember aboard the UH60 Blackhawk. I got to see and do some pretty cool things during that time and although I miss it terribly, I don't miss the incredible back pain it gave me. Currently, I'm working towards a Master's degree in Wildlife Management with the end goal of working for USFWS or being a conservation officer. Time will tell which avenue I undertake. I love taking the journey as much as achieving the goal. Hobbies include reading, writing, learning Warhammer 40k with my husband, and my all-time favorite passion: Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Basically if barrel-racing, pole bending and single-action shooting had a love triangle then cowboy mounted shooting is the result. In a nutshell, you ride a horse as fast as you can through a pre-designated pattern while firing single-action revolvers using blank ammunition at balloon targets. Fastest time with the least number of misses wins! Check it out sometime! I realize I have several open stories. Some I want to re-write; others I want to scrap all-together. However, I feel that every work can provide a valuable learning tool to do the next one better. I appreciate constructive criticism and welcome thoughts, suggestions, and reviews.
