![]() Author has written 35 stories for Hogan's Heroes, Columbo, and Criminal Minds. I am a longtime Hogan's Heroes/Bob Crane fan, may he RIP. So once I discovered this site, I was hooked! I've been writing most of my life but never had other people interested in reading anything I wrote. But I didn't let that discourage me from continuing with my writing. Then I tried my hand at writing stories for Hogan's Heroes. I was always told I had a vivid imagination. LOL. I also hope to start writing for Criminal Minds soon as a means of expanding my fanfic horizon. Guess you can tell from my stories that Hogan is my favorite character from the series. With Criminal Minds, my favorite character is Aaron Hotchner aka Hotch. As far as music goes: I enjoy a lot of it from the 50s & 60s while growing up. Have been a BIG Barry Manilow fan for years and love Sinatra and Glen Miller. Favorite Manilow song is Even Now. Favorite Glen Miller song: Moonlight Serenade. Love too many Sinatra songs to list. As a side-note, I recently bought Bob Crane, His Drums and his Orchestra online. Bob was an exceptional drummer and it is fantastic! He plays the drums to the themes of several old-time TV shows. I highly recommend it for any Bob Crane and/or Hogan's Heroes fan. If I had to select a favorite movie it would be tough. There are so many. But if I REALLY had to select one, it would be a tie between A Beautiful Mind with the yummy Russell Crowe, Titanic, Chicago with sexy Richard Gere & the talented Catherine-Zeta Jones, and Laura with the late, great Dana Andrews and Gene Tierney. My favorite Broadway show would be, without a doubt, Les Miserables. The original cast was brilliant as was their singing. I also have a passion for true historical incidents and true crimes such as the Titanic, the Hindenburg, stuff like that. I'm just fascinated with them and enjoy researching them and reading about them. I'm also meeting a lot of nice people in this site and making a lot of new friends. It's great to be able to share your love of a classic TV show we all grew up watching with others. Favorite TV shows: Hogan's Heroes, MacGyver(the original with sexy Richard Dean Anderson), Meerkat Manor, Law & Order(the original. Loved the entire cast, but ESPECIALLY LOVE Sam Waterston as Jack McCoy), Grace and Frankie, Mash, Beauty & The Beast(the original TV Show & the Disney movie. The rebooted TV show was so-so), Scarecrow & Mrs. King(LOVE Bruce Boxleitner), Family Guy, Quincy ME, Three's Company, L&O: SVU, Criminal Minds(love Hotch. Thomas Gibson is soooooo hot!), Columbo (loved the late Peter Falk in that role). Hope to do a Columbo story one day, and The Wild, Wild West(loved the late Ross Martin). Love watching the NY Mets, the NJ Devils, the Dallas Cowboys football team, the Boston Celtics basketball team & the Duke Blue Devils (College basketball). Also enjoy reading just about anything. Favorite authors would be John Grisham and Stephen King. Favorite books: It's a tie between The Shining and Salem's Lot. If I had to select an all-time favorite TV-show it would be a tie between COLUMBO: loved the late Peter Falk in that role. And the original Law & Order:big Jerry Orbach and Chris Noth fan. I live near the beach in New Jersey, so during the summer and when it's not too chilly later in the year, I sit on the boardwalk, watch the ocean, and bring my pad and pen in case I get any ideas for a HH story. Also enjoy listening to downloaded music while I'm working on my laptop writing. And if I'm not writing or sometimes even if I am, I have my Hogan's Heroes DVDs playing. I could watch them endlessly. Several of my Hogan's Hero stories have Bluebird, Captian Fritz Fuchs in them. These are on loan from Jennaya O'Neill, and may not be used without her permission. I also have a gray/white short-hair cat named, what else, HOGAN. |
