Author has written 19 stories for Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, and Harry Potter.
About Me: I am in college, studying Psychology and Sociology. Writing is a lovely way of expressing myself and letting out steam. I particularly like writing fanfics because of oneshots. I love writing oneshots and drabbles. I'm not particularly good at writing multi-chapter stories. I lose my momentum and it just goes downhill from there.
Updates (2/12/12): In The Dark and Fated Children are still being updated, although not regularly and/or reliably. I update them when I have the creative spark to do so.
I am currently revising many of my older pieces. I just feel that I could do better.
My Style: I nearly always stick to cannon but since most of my works are drabbles or oneshots it's not really that much of a deal anyways. I like to write about moments that define characters or explain how I interpreted how the character felt about certain events, ect. I also like to stick with cannon pairings, although sometimes I mess with cannon but my aim is to make a believable switch.
My Fanfic Preferences: So I mostly read FFVIII, LoD, Harry Potter and Star Wars (and on some occasion other FF). I will never write a Star Wars fanfic because it's just too epic. I don't feel like I could do it justice, especially since I don't know much about the expanded universe and I feel the movies are perfect within themselves but there are some very good works on this site none the less.
I don't particularly care for AUs unless they are a 'What If' AU where the stories is still basically the same but one thing happened different and it changed some of the outcomes of events. AUs that take characters from a story and put them in a totally different setting (like taking the characters from Harry Potter and putting them in a Murder Mystery/CSI type setting with no magic). Why not just write your own story, with your own characters? And from a psychological/sociological perspective, if you take the characters out of their environment and put them in a different one, with different background stories then they will not be the same, the things that shaped them into who they are would have been changed and so they would change as well.
I also don't care for cross overs, unless you can find a way to believably link the two fandoms. I've read a few FF crossovers that worked where the worlds were somehow linked and it made since and was skillfully done, but those are far and few between.
Oh and I do enjoy slash if it is believable, meaning I can actually imagine the characters getting together within the fandom without major changes to their personalities.
Parting Note: I shall wrap this up now, but before I go I just wanted to point out that I have a lovely collection of favorited authors that you will probably like if you like any of my works. Enjoy and Happy Readings!!! :D
