Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter. I have returned after a prolonged absence, only to find that all my favourite fanfiction writers have grown up and gotten lives of their own as well. Which is just too bad... (so, if you know of any decent, challenging fanfiction about, send it my way, please!) However, I return, determined to put some spit and polish on old fics, post new ones and finish old ones. Be warned, fair reader, as I am currently working on my own novel, so it may take a while...! I am a bit of a troglodyte who can be found playing her violin in merry olde England. My favourite things include corsetry, Philosophy, Science (and I include mathematics in that), art (including comics!) and films (animated or live action, I don't mind, though I'm not particularly fond of CGI). I do my best to incorporate my interests in my fanfiction, which mainly involves Harry Potter fanfiction, particularly on the scientific and historical side, which explains why I enjoy writing fics with comparatively so much muggle involvement (but don't worry, I'm not that fond of Original Characters, even though I have succumbed to the temptation far too often for my own good!). A word to the wise: unless stated otherwise, each fanfic is set in an entirely separate 'Harry Potter' world of it's own, with it's own characterisations et al. If you like my fanfiction, I urge you to review (no, really urge you!), so then I know whether it's good stuff or not, and also to boost my ego, I'll admit. I will delete the fic if I don't think it's good enough, so there you go. If you are going to sign my fics Anonymously, please make sure that you have a working e-mail address so that I can get back to you if you make a particularly interesting review/have any questions. If you have any queries, then go to my forums and ask 'em there! Enjoy! Update: Right. I have already said this in my forums, but I take it they're not too popular, so I'll say this here where people are most likely to read it. 'Beneath the Silk' is currently being revised. Although the new version of the first chapter has already been uploaded, I think it's only fair to publish the new version separately because there will be some major diversions. This is mostly because, as many of you have pointed out, 'Beneath the Silk' has far too many typos and plotting problems for me to remain satisfied with. I feel very privileged in having so many people who enjoyed it, and more and more embarrassed (and guilty) about it's terrible quality. What can I say? I was young and didn't quite follow the strength of my own convictions - as the finale rather shows, I think - but hopefully I have learnt enough lessons since then! The Potions Master's Apprentice will not be continued, I'm afraid; certainly not in it's current format. I am sorry, but as it was meant to be an accompanying piece to 'Beneath the Silk', and that will certainly be undergoing some serious changes, it wouldn't work out. I am very fond of Neville, however, so may well be able to hatch something up concerning him and a particularly snarky portrait in the headmaster's office... Finally, Gelda. Like 'Beneath the Silk', the already existing chapters will be revised, though not by too much as there hasn't really been anything to contradict my take on the founders in DH, but plenty to add to it! This is still a work in progress, for all it may seem otherwise, so watch this space! |
