Author has written 12 stories for Harry Potter.
Update: Well everyone, I just quit my job last Thursday, so updates may come a little more frequently, but I'm not promising anything.
I enjoy writing Harry Potter fanfiction. I usually like to pair a character from the books with an original character because I like to do a "What if this person had been in the story?" look at writing. My favorite characters in Harry Potter in order of importance are:
1. Draco Malfoy
I know, I know, all of you are thinking, "How can she like Harry Potter the least out of her favorites?" Well I just do, okay? I mean Harry's a great hero and all, but what about everyone else? That's why I write about them. I make Harry the character on the sidelines. If you don't really like that style, then I suggest you don't read my stories.
Also, when I write, I don't really like to beg for reviews. I feel that a person should review when they feel they should. I'm not saying that if you want to review that you shouldn't. If something in a particular chapter moves you, inspires you, intrigues you, or you really enjoyed, then review. I don't care if I have a story with only four reviews, but 400 views. I'd rather someone read my story than feel the need to review because I asked for it.
After my first story, An American Witch in London, I have tried to refrain from using too many Author's Notes. I only use them if I feel I need to apologize for a wait, answer a question in a review, or dedicate a chapter to someone who helped inspire me to write. I try not to use Author's Notes mainly because I know how irritated I feel when I just want to get to the story part of the chapter. I'm sorry to those who really enjoy them.
Finally, I hate putting a disclaimer on every chapter of my stories. Anyone who doesn't know that I don't own Harry Potter and anything recognized from J.K. Rowling's books has been living under a rock. So I'll state it here as an all-encompassing statement: I do not own anything that is recognizable from the Harry Potter series written by J.K. Rowling. Now you know, just in case you hadn't before I wrote that.
Update: As I am not art inclined nor web savvy, I have found a page to create avatars for my characters so that you (the reader) can have at least a small idea of what I picture.
