Author has written 1 story for Twilight.
I am sixteen, so I'm probably in the norm on this site. I am a girl of medium height. I like to read (Why else would I be here?), I enjoy doing Crew, being in Civil Air Patrol, engaging in geekery, and hanging out with my friends.
Slightly More Interesting Things:
West Point, Naval Academy, or the Air Force Academy are my dream schools. I am in Civil Air Patrol, which is, just for the record, much cooler and better than the other cadet programs (kidding!). When I get older, I hope to join the U.S. Military, and serve my country.
To join Civil Air Patrol, go here:
I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the EAA Airventure show at Oshkosh, 2012. Do you like airplanes? GO THERE.
I went to Oshkosh only being sorta-kinda interested in airplanes and aviation. I came out an aviation geek. It's an amazing experience, you will get to see (aviation-related) things that you would never get to see anywhere else.
Of late I have mostly been reading books on military history and military science and the like. Also, military nonfiction. I would definitely recommend Citizen Soldiers, by Stephen Ambrose, and The Good War, by Studs Terkel. As you can see, I am very interested in World War Two. I read about World War One too, but to a lesser degree. Saving Private Ryan is one of my favorite movies. I also love Forrest Gump, and Slumdog Millionaire.
I'm hoping to work on getting my private pilot's license after I turn sixteen, through Civil Air Patrol. Flying is absolutely amazing, especially in small planes. If I go into the Air Force, I'd like to try and be a pilot.
That's all I have to say about myself, so if you haven't stopped reading you can now read all about my ships and Fandoms. Enjoy!
Sorry, but I've been getting extremely sick of all the shipping on this site. In my opinion, romance should never be the only plot in a story. There needs to be some other kind of conflict. If there was just romance with no conflict, then it would be like...like...well...
Okay, I don't care how much money Twilight makes, it's still an awful book!
1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: This is an awesome show. This is an absolutely amazing show. You must watch it. Or not, though I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to watch people fight vampires, demons, and wittily banter while doing so. I don't go on here much for BtVS fanfiction, but all the BtVS fanfics in my favorites are extremely good. Well, most of them, I think. If you want some quality BtVS fanfiction, try this site:
It's a crossover site, so be warned, there are plenty of crazy stories. Still, it's definitely worth a look.
2. Doctor Who: Doctor Who is my other favorite show, and it is also extremely awesome. And by extremely awesome I mean the best thing since before TARDISes were invented. I've only watched the new series and a few of the old series, but I like both Nu Who and Old Who, and I love all the Doctors. Once again, I only go on the Doctor Who section occasionally, but there's some pretty good stuff there.
3. Twilight: Now why would I have Twilight here if it's such an awful book? Well, that's the thing. You see, Twilight has no plot, no real storyline, and the characters are so blank they're almost invisible. It's basically the barest bones of a potential story.
Which leaves room for tons and tons of fanfiction!
I've found that in the Twilight fanfiction section, while there are plenty of not-so-good stories (Translation: crap), there are some stories where the fans have taken the barest bones of this so-called-book and spun it into something amazing. Stuff so good and original it should be published in place of Twilight. So that's why I have this here. For the amazing fanfiction made by people who were able to take a skeletal story and run with it.
Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humour. Here are some maintenance complaints submitted by Qantas' pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers. By the way, Qantas is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident.
P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
P: Something loose in cockpit.
P: Dead bugs on windshield.
P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent.
P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.
P: Suspected crack in windshield.
P: Number 3 engine missing.
P: Aircraft handles funny. (I love this one!)
P: Target radar hums.
P: Mouse in cockpit.
And the best one for last...
P: Noise coming from under instrument panel.
