![]() Author has written 4 stories for Robin Hood BBC, and MI-5/Spooks. 27/03/11 - Sorry to all my readers for the stall in updates, but I'm not going to be writing until the Summer now when I've finished all my A levels. Things are crazy! I hope you can all forgive me, but I look forward to hearing from you all again when the suns shining in a white July sky. Love you all, Vive. I should forewarn you - this is probably not the best use of your time, really I'm not that interesting. But if you're really intent on reading about me... sure, go ahead. I read when I get the time, although time seems to be of the essence and at the moment and is as rare as gold dust. There are so many great authors out there its hard to pick a select few to mention... A Place of Greater Safety - Hilary Mantel is the most amazing author, and I have to admit to being a bit of a sucker for those revolutionaries. A Song of Ice and Fire - after Tolkien, George Martin is God. So a sort of under-God then, like second in command God... God's secretary. Sort of. Mimus - by a really skilled French author called Lilli Thal; I've never read anything else by her, but it was wonderful! Lord of the Rings - Tolkien is a master. Or God, of course. Any of the inspector Rebus books - Ian Rankin is the lord of all crime novels. Now I know every budding author is told to read. Read read read. Devour books, quite literally. But I'd counter that with - write write write! Be inspired sure! But no-one ever wrote a great piece of poetry or a fantastic novel by just reading. Love television, bane of my life of course, but there's nothing like an episode of Fraiser to help you unwind! Robin Hood - but only for brooding Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne. Marian was pretty crazy to leave him at the altar! Supernatural - I know! I know - don't spear me! It's just Castiel... I can't help it, he's just got these eyes, and I barely even notice Jenson Ackles and Jared Padalecki. Spooks - love this show, honestly the best goddamn thing that's happened to TV since... um sliced TV bread. You get the idea. Frasier, Outnumbered, Black Books - British TV is not complete without good comedy, and everyone needs a good laugh once in a while. Game of Thrones - Damn HBO for being in America! I have to scour the internet for each episode - but it's worth it! Such an epic series of books and it's turned into an epic TV series. and there's plenty more but I don't want to bore you. Fics I am planning - The Freak and the Failsafe - A BBC Sherlock fic, just a few snippets of conversation at the moment, but he's so much fun to write I may not be able to resist. Fics I am currently writing - Traitors Gate - sequel to Childsplay, check it out if you're interested, but I'd encourage you to read Childsplay first. (On Hold) Albion A Spooks fic, Canon 7.02 It's Lucas' first mission since he was reinstated on the grid and he knocks down a civilian in a car chase, Lucas begins to worry that he's lost his touch and little does he know the effect this incident will have on his life. Completed Fics - Childsplay- my take on the BBC series Robin Hood, very AU and with lots of OC's and is mainly centered around Guy. This is the first fanfiction I ever wrote and for me it was a bit of a long haul - but worth it! So it feels a bit like the end of an era... Ghosts- A song fic inspired by Laura Marling's song Ghosts. A one off, and something different for me. Thanks for checking out my profile, hope you've found something here that you can enjoy/read.
