The name's Sassy.
I am 27 years old and I'm just an average (brunette) girl with an average (busy) life.
I've been writing fanfiction since I was 16 years old and can't see myself stopping anytime soon. So please feel free to send me constructive criticism. I'm not easily offended. I'm a Registered Nurse who works twelve-hour night shifts at the hospital, as well as an independent business owner - both of which keep me plenty busy. I enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. I'm a mom of two rescued kitties who fill my life with laughter, and love to cuddle when I'm trying to write. I'm pretty easy going, because hey, life is hard enough. Don't stress over what you can't control.
A few of my favorite television shows: Charmed(c), One Tree Hill(c), The Vampire Diaries(c), The Originals, Shameless, Pretty Little Liars(c), Once Upon a Time(c), The Walking Dead, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, The Night Shift, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, 13 Reasons Why, Designated Survivor, Stranger Things, Riverdale, and Chasing Life(c).
Some animes I rather enjoy: Inuyasha, Bleach, Fruits Basket, Case Closed, Toradora, Ouran High School Host Club, Maid Sama, Fairy Tail, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Snow White with the Red Hair, Yona of the Dawn, Orange, Special A, Vampire Knight, Kiss Him Not Me, ReLife, Death Note, Dragonball series, Sword Art Online, Attack on Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins, and Kamisama Kiss.
I absolutely LOVE to read, but being so busy these days its hard to find the time. Thankfully I have my Kindle! My favorite book would have to be The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen. It holds a special place in my heart.
Music is a huge part of my life. I've seen so many bands/singers in concert, that I've lost count. My likes range all over the spectrum, but I'm more of a Country music fan.
I happen to be one of those girls who loves video games. I own almost every system ranging from Super Nintendo to the XBox 360. Although I haven't had the time lately to enjoy it, some of my favorite games include L4D, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Mario, Spyro, CoD, the Sims, Nancy Drew, Resident Evil, Pokemon, and Earthbound.
Writing is my guilty pleasure. I love writing for the IY fandom. It gives me a variety of characters to work with, and a variety of skill levels in how well I can write them. However, I recently discovered the amazing anime of Fairy Tail and have been itching to write something for it, so you may see me branch out of my comfort zone sometime soon. I try to challenge myself because I'm hoping to someday write a book of my own. So please, review, as I love to hear everything my readers have to say.
If you want to know more about me, or just a friend to talk to, feel free to shoot me a PM. I don't bite.
Quote I live by:
You were only given this life because you're strong enough to live it. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes things fall apart so other things can fall together, but in the end, whats meant to be, will always find a way...

Special thanks to my wonderful, perfect beta, Evervescent (aka iliveondaydreams on tumblr) for putting up with me, doing an amazing job of editing, and always giving me such confidence as a writer. You rock my world!

Okay, my lovely readers! Life is starting to get back on track after everything that's happened over the last month. Home-owning is getting easier, even though the To-Do list never ends. My mom is finally on the mend after having foot surgery and will hopefully be able to walk again in a few short weeks. She's become more independent as of late, which means my time isn't filled with what she needs to get done. I've also started my own business as an Independent Scentsy Consultant, so time is also being put aside for that. However, I'm finally starting to get some energy back and get back to writing! I do apologize for the lack of new chapters, but life is life and sometimes we have no control over it. Please be patient and feel free to check back here concerning any updates as I will keep this section as current as possible. And if you're looking for more information, please PM me or keep an eye on my tumblr (which I hope to post on more frequently) for more news. As of right now, I plan on wrapping up majority of my ongoing fics. In no particular order, this includes Keeping Strong, A Double Shot of Heaven, Fatal Attraction, and Tomorrow's Destiny. Only once these are completed will I begin any new multi-chapter fics. On that note, I'm also in the process of writing my very first Fairy Tail fic! I want to finish and edit it before posting, so it won't be out for some time, but I'm really excited about it. It's proving to be a challenge writing for new characters, but don't worry, my IY fans, I'm still working on those fics, too. I promise. My muse just tends to dabble in whatever it pleases. I have officially completed the outline for the remaining chapters of Keeping Strong, so this fic will be my main focus until it's completion. I am currently working on the epilogue, which means the remaining chapters are in the editing phase. Which means you will be having some very frequent updating soon, and hopefully the story will be wrapped up by November! As for Ripple Effect, I've decided to give it a complete overhaul, including a possible title change. I know where I want to take it, but the current posted chapters don't reflect that, so I will be revising it. Eventually, it will be taken down and reposted once I've wrapped up an outline for it. Until I finish this process, this story will remain on hiatus. Sorry to all it's fans, but I want to do this story right. I will be letting you know when these changes will be occurring, so keep an eye out. Porcelain Fists is my back-burner story, so I only work on it when I feel inspired, hence the slower update process. Those who are fans of Tomorrow's Destiny, I have great news! After the completion of KS, TD will be my next primary focus to work on! So hopefully I can give you more chapters soon. A Christmas Story is on hiatus, as I only update this fic during the holiday season. The next chapter is already about a third of the way written. Come December, it'll be back in full swing! The next chapter of Double Shot of Heaven is about a third of the way done. It's giving me a tad bit of trouble in the dialogue department, so it may be a little while before I can update the next chapter. Fatal Attraction is my latest fic and will only be about ten chapters or so. I haven't been working on it much lately due to wanting to wrap up some of my older fics, so please excuse the long absence between updates. There's always a chance of various one-shots coming out as well. So please stick around and check back for updates!
Currently looking for a Fairy Tail beta. Requirements: Must have written for Fairy Tail, must have example of work posted somewhere, and must be fluent in the English language. Anyone whose interested in helping a fellow writer, feel free to PM me! :)
Thank you to everyone who have reviewed/favored/alerted any of my stories or myself over the years. Your love has continued to let me know that you're enjoying my stories. I'm not going to sugar-coat anything or make promises I can't keep. However, even though I may be too busy to write, I will do my best to check my email regularly, but don't be upset if it takes forever for me to reply. Thank you for all the continued support and reviews asking me to update. I love hearing that you enjoy my stories so much. Keeps me coming back :)
Stories to Tumblr: Presently, I am only posting one-shots to tumblr. All of my currently on-going multi-chapter fics were posted before I started actively posting my writing to my tumblr account. The only story that isn't included in this, is Double Shot of Heaven, which was born from a tumblr challenge. Its subsequent chapters will be posted to tumblr once they're completed. To clarify, all of my work will officially always be posted here. Once I begin posting new multi-chapter stories, I may begin posting those to tumblr as well, but they will always be posted here first. In the meantime, I will still continue to post excerpts and links to tumblr when chapters are updated. Thank you for all my tumblr followers who have popped over here to review my stories. It really does mean so, so much!
Reviews: They are so important to writers. How can we improve without them? I personally get discouraged when no one reviews. Favorites and alerts are great, but reviews keep writers going. We know people are viewing our fics, we know our work is being read, but we also know that very few people spare a minute of their time to thank us. Don't ignore your writers. Thank them for their time. Thank them for their imagination. Thank them for putting a piece of their heart on a screen. I now know why so many great authors have disappeared from fanfiction. It only takes 2mins to leave a review. Don't be the reason someone stops writing. Most fic writers get less than 100 reviews on their fics. Most often its WAY less than that. The chances of there being any feedback is pretty much zilch. Views to favorites ratios are minuscule and reviews are rare. We spend months on one story and barely ever get even a "This is great!" Please don't harass your writers. Please don't sweep us under the rug. We work hard. We are important to fandoms. What we do is important. Fanfiction is important. And fanfic authors are important. It just seems as though lately reviews are rare for writers on this site, and it simply breaks my heart. I don't think I'll ever stop writing, because I have tons of ideas I want to dabble with, but still... be kind to those who write fics. They put hours and hours of their time into them. You can spare 2 minutes, can't you?
Fanfiction Requests: (Request status: closed) I am happy to accept any and all fanfiction requests related to categories I have already written for. However, I will only write one-shots, so the idea has to be able to fit within one chapter. I already have two multi-chapter stories I've taken on, which are more time-consuming than one-shots. Thank you all so much for the amazing words of encouragement and deep praise. Being asked to write something special is one of the highest compliments you can give a writer; to believe in them so much that they can make your vision come alive.
Beta Requests: (Request status: open) I am more than happy to accept any and all beta/editor requests related to categories I have already written for. Although my time may be limited every now and then, I can usually edit something fairly quickly. Just shoot me a PM and I will be happy to oblige, as well as give you a time limit as to when I can have it done by. Thank you so much for your consideration! I love helping anyone I can improve their writing skills, so please, don't be shy. I'm here to help!
To all those guest reviewers who have been reading my older stuff, I just wanted to say thank you! I am unable to reply to your reviews here, but I do reply to them on my tumblr account if you happen to drop by. Everything will be tagged under "guest reviewers". I just want to show that I appreciate and love each and every one of your reviews. I'm so glad that you are still enjoying some of my older pieces, and I squeal like a little school girl every time I see a new review has popped up. I appreciate it more than you know!
Small note about any sequels to my currently completed stories: Although I've written a couple of spin-offs to finished works, beside the ones listed below, the remainder of my stories will stay complete the way they are. Thank you, though, for enjoying my work so much as to want the story to be continued. It is very much appreciated.
Next Update: Keeping Strong - chapter 24
