Author has written 11 stories for Thunderbirds. Hi, I'm not to good at giving background information on myself, so I'll keep this simple. I live in Australia, and have only recently been reintroduced to the Thunderbirds, via my two kids who are seriously addicted, I'm sure that there has to be a cure somewhere, watching Thunderbirds everyday, and knowing all the lines can't be good for a five year old. Nor is replying to everything by saying 'FAB'. It's driving their father around the bend if nothing else. But I figure it's better than some of the rubbish out there nowdays, and has some good values that can be encouraged. As you've probably figured I'm a mother of two. Work part time, and looking at returning to study soon. I've always had a vivid imagination... much like Alan, I would be found day dreaming instead of studying at school. So I find the story development pretty easy, it's the grammar etc that gets me caught. So I'm working on that. Any help willingly and gratefully accepted. Favourite TB characters, well all of them, for different reasons. Scott's just cute, (He'd hate that!) and that's partly why I like him, he can be such a stiff. John also a bit of a stiff, but has his moments, I like it when he looses his cool. Virgil is sweet... Although I'm not so sure I'd like to face him as 'Virg the Surg'. Gordon is good fun, but reliable in a jam. Alan... I'm not sure, I'm still trying to figure him out, he's portrayed as the victim so often, I would like to see him as the responsible adult, -maybe something I can work on. Jeff I can empathise with, five boys! He should be bald, not just grey, I prefer the caring Jeff, to the dictator or absent father. Grandma well the boys need someone to keep them in line, Jeff doesn't stand a hope without her. Fermat and Brain: haven't used them much, but I probably will in the future. Tintin, Kyrano and Onaha: Lovely family, it would be interesting to have a story from their perspective, the Tracy's must be very - um... interesting? to live with. I tend to mix the Movie and Original, sorry, if it offends anyone. I've based the ages in my stories on a mix of the Movie and using their birth dates from the official website (well I thinks it's one of the official ones - who knows). Set roughly in the near future. (If only!) Scott is born 4th April, John born 18months later on 8th October, Virgil born nearly 2 years later again 15th August, Gordon (Hatched) 18 months later 14th February, (4 kids under six, Lucy must have been going seriously nuts, 2's enough for me!) And Alan nearly four years later on 13th March. (Making nearly 10 years between Scott and Alan) Also I'll not be killing anyone off in any of my stories, having lost family myself, I can't inflict that on characters that I respect and love. And I'm not too big on major injuries, with the number of injuries the guys have sustained in different stories, it a wonder they are still standing. (Not that I don't enjoy those stories, I do, I just don't really want to write them myself.) I much prefer doing humour. Well I hope you enjoy what I've written so far, I have got some other ideas on the go... but it may take awhile. P.S. I also like playing with photos etc on the computer, so the picture of Scott and Zoey is entirley fake. -And if you ever happend to read this Phil, sorry. F-A-B. Tango Bravo Zulu. |
