Author has written 3 stories for Twilight.
My names Fran, or if you're familiar with my stories, then you might know me as FP, either is fine.
Short description of my where abouts: I've recently just graduated from school! Previously I had attended a boarding school in France, but I was born and raised in a little town just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am currently attending a private university in Pittsburgh and am an undeclared business marketing major.
What I write and why: I strictly write Twilight FanFiction only. I do have a few independent works of literature that are virtually collecting dust in my documents on my computer. I used to be obsessed with Twilight. I owned all the books, poster, soundtracks, even a Twilight t-shirt, with Robert Pattinson's face on it. But, once the movie came out and all the merchandise started hitting store shelves, I started to see that I really disliked what Twilight had become, another production sellout taken over by bad acting, crummy screenplays, and even worse, mobbed with pre-teen vampire crazed girls. Ugh! Mostly, I just grew out of my vampire obsessed stage. So now you see that I am not the biggest fan of Twilight. But I have a method to my madness of writing only Twilight. Currently I have taken a step back from writing. I just find that my schedule varies too much, especially college, to keep a precise update schedule. I've come to respect writers on this site who manage to update religiously at least once a week. I'm one of those people who's creative juices flow free for hours and I can't get ideas down fast enough, but when I get a dry patch I'm stuck there. I've taken a HIATUS on both of my in progress stories, however I am working on something new that I might have out soon. Sorry to those of you who I left hanging with Seven Years and Angel of Death, the latter of which is on HIATUS strictly because I've grown up and finally see my plot sucked.
Goal: My goal in my writings and stories, is to give back to the Twilight community. I want all those brainwashed pre-teens to read my stories and realize that there is more to life then wanting a fictional vampire to bite you. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I try to make all my stories so far from Stephanie Meyer's original idea, that the only thing that is similar are the character's names. I love making alternative universes, new characters, and giving Meyer's characters my own twist. My favorite part of FanFiction is having the ability to make the characters your own. For instance, I hate Isabella Swan! I loath everything form her attitude to her actions in the books. My solution, I make Bella into characters like Agent Death, and Bella the woman. She's independent, has a strong attitude, and in most cases wants to tear Edward apart limb form limb. My Edward's are cynical, cold, and so far from gentlemen like, that they would make Meyer's Edward cry. Another thing, I recently scrolled through the Twilight archives, can you say BAD WRITING! I can but apparently no one else wants to. I have two things to say, 1.) Get a Beta (best thing that ever happened to me) and 2.) Don't post it unless you can read it out loud and it actually sounds like you're speaking English. I mean look at the first chapters of anything that I've written, they SUCK! So my second goal is to give people a break form bad grammar, terrible story lines, and over all bad writing. I am currently working on upgrading my writing so that old chapters are properly written.
Just a few of my favorites: These are just a few of my favorite thing, that I hope gives you all a better understand of me and my writing.
Book:The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, & Mockingjay book one - three by Suzanne Collins (Highly recommend), The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, & The Host by Stephenie Meyer (Just cause twilight sucks, doesn't mean her other stuff does, her writing is really genius, I strongly suggest picking this one up), both the Kite Runner & A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini (excellent!), Tuedays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and For One More Day all by Mitch Albom. I also strongly recommend the book Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys as well.
Author:Harper Lee (This lady rocks. She was so ahead of her time), Mitch Albom, Khaled Hosseini, and Jodi Picoult.
Sports: I love watching hockey and football, but my passion is playing tennis. I love ultimate frisbee too! (Anyone? No, just me?)
Music: My favorite band still remains Mumford and Sons. Other then that I'm really an anything goes kind of gal. I love all kinds of genres, from Eminem to Florence The Machine, to George Winston, to bands you'e never even heard of like The Middle East.
TV Shows: New Girl, The Office, Giuliana and Bill (my guilty pleasure reality TV), Nurse Jackie, Once Upon a Time, The Following, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, & The Mindy Project.
Just a few boringly interesting thing about me: I'm Roman Catholic, I am a registered Independent but have moderate Republican views (dislike politics in general), I read at least one book a week, I volunteer regularly for Colleges Against Cancer , I speak fluent French, I've never been farther south or west then Texas, I love the beach, have been playing the piano for 11 years now, scrapbooking, have a strange love for snowmen, I can't tan to save my life, possess no common sense, I sound stupid when I swear, so I don't (although I live vicariously though my characters, who seem to have rather dirty mouths), have three older siblings: twin brothers & a sister, love painting replications of impression paintings (weird right?), am allergic to cats, & love tennis.
Lots of Love
