Just an ordinary guy that has a love of video games, anime, and a good read. Been around the site for quite a few years now, getting better after each break I take, and in this instance I hope to last just a bit longer. I balance multiple part-time jobs that my brain spends the time at planning new crazy ideas that I'm forced to write down because I enjoy them. On my off days I like to go out and shoot people in the face with my.
Soulbound: My most ambitious and exciting project that my years of fic writing has led to: a pseudo-novelization of RWBY Volume 1. I love novelizations when done right with my favorite one of all time being Starcraft: Liberty's Crusade. Started off with ideas of rewriting The Stray and Black and White only for my brain to cut in with "Hey, people have done that so let's novelize the entire volume!". Am throwing in my own ideas, popular fan theories, and pairings (majorly Bumblebee) in the mix and it won't necessarily end as it did in the show once we do get to Black and White. Hoping to get this done before the start of Volume 2 but there is the possibility of me being one or two chapters short of the deadline.
(Holy crap I got this done before Volume 2. And for the fun of it, I'm going to list which theories and ideas I had hold water in the RWBY canon for Volume 2 as each episode comes out, even the smallest tidbits.)
Proven/Disproven Theories of Soulbound:
Disproven: Second semester starts during Volume 2, not before.
As posted on the Our friend, inspiration and co-worker Monty Oum passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:34 PM surrounded by people who loved him very much. Ten days ago Monty suffered a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma. Although he fought bravely, his body was not able to recover. During his time in the hospital he was well cared for and never in pain at any time. on February 2nd:
Monty is survived by his wife Sheena, his father Mony, his brothers Woody, Sey, Chivy and Neat, and his sisters Thea and Theary, as well as a countless number of fans and friends. We were so proud to be a part of his life and we will miss him greatly.
Your generosity during the hours after the public statement on Friday will help his family deal with the costs of his care and his passing. You made an incredible difference during a difficult time and we cannot thank you enough.
As for honoring Monty, we will do that in our own way. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that you simply do something creative. Use your imagination to make the world a better place in any way that you can. If you know Monty like we do, then you know he would certainly be doing that if he were able to.
Monty was 33 years old.
We love you, Monty.
