Poll: Which of the Akatsuki members would you like to see paired with an original character? Vote Now!
Author has written 22 stories for Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Harry Potter, and Inuyasha.
I am formerly Aiko of the Akatsuki.
Since readers still contact me and review my stories, I intend to write a final story to express my gratitude. I plan to rewrite A Detonating Dance with the purpose of creating a more artful, mature, and sultry version of the original story. I've compiled extensive notes on Aiko, the Kunoichi of the Ketsuekigan, my OC who deserves better development now that I've improved my characterization skills. Check out the remake, Toxic; you won't be disappointed if you liked A Detonating Dance.

Fiercely independent and resilient, Aiko seeks a cure for her degenerative eye disease. Her ambitions steer her into dangerous territory, right into the hands of Sasori, who plans to use her for his own nefarious purposes. Deidara encourages Aiko to disobey her employer, and tensions escalate until each of the ninja are at each other's throats. Sasori becomes determined to control Aiko, but she resists his dominance, pulls his strings, and drives the master puppeteer over the edge.
While authoring Toxic, I'm also creating artwork for the story. Here are links to my pictures, which I've featured on DeviantArt:
Bright side of the Eclipse by AnEveningMoth
I recently discovered the first chapter of this ItachixOC story, and am enamored with AnEveningMoth's writing style. Her alliteration and imagery are brilliant. Bright side of the Eclipse begins with a suspenseful dialogue between Itachi and Fukuro Miyuki, whose pluck makes her a likable OC. Miyuki does not strike me as a submissive or conventionally weak female, and her interactions with Itachi are amusing. The exchanges between these two characters are brisk, filled with energy and promising dynamism, and I look forward to seeing how Bright side of the Eclipse develops.
Dark Star by SapphireAutumnMelody
As someone who prefers to see Hinata paired with characters who can teach her to become stronger, I particularly like Dark Star, where she is paired with Itachi. While I am not a fervent ItachixHinata shipper, I love how SapphireAutumnMelody brings these two characters together. The interactions between each of the characters are subtle, telling, and insightful. SapphireAutumnMelody does a stellar job exploring the insecurities that plague Hinata who, with guidance from Itachi, is learning how to tackle her what makes her anxious. This is a heartfelt story, brimming with dark, forbidden intrigue, and I highly recommend it. If you have the opportunity, check out the first chapter!
Marionette by amkay
Finding a good SasorixOC story is difficult so, when I stumbled across Marionette, I was delighted. Amkay narrates her story from the viewpoint of Sasori's puppet, her OC Sada, who has a morbid innocence. She has an atypical relationship with Sasori and, as she says, she does not love him "the way a woman loves a man, or the way friends hold affection for each other, but more in the strange way a servant gladly submits to a kind master rather than a harsh one." If you are not fascinated by Sada, I can guarantee that you'll be intrigued by the other characters that amkay incorporates into Marionette, notably the Third Kazekage and Hiruko, whose personalities she develops throughout the story.
Currently, I want to experiment with AkatsukixOC stories. If you're interested in seeing me create a one-shot with an original character and one of the Akatsuki members, take my poll. Feel free to message me with ideas for OCs, too! I feel like the popularity of AkatsukixOC stories has tanked since I've been absent from fanfiction, and I would like to inspire more love for the members of this intriguing criminal organization. In my spare time, I am also trying to put together a community, which'll be comprised of well-written AkatsukixOC stories. Contact me if that project interests you, as well!
