I have been captivated by the novels of Jane Austen since I first read Pride & Prejudice in English class in high school many years ago. Following a career as a legal secretary and a second career as a special education assistant, I turned my attention to writing a novel that has been swirling around in my head for years. That story is Searching for Pemberley. With my publisher, Sourcebooks, I have published three Pride and Prejudice re-imaginings: The Perfect Bride for Mr. Darcy, A Wife for Mr. Darcy, and Mr. Darcy's Bite. I have independently published novels, novellas, and one short story: Darcy on the Hudson, A Walk in the Meadows at Rosings Park, For All the Wrong Reasons, Mr. Darcy's Angel of Mercy, Anne Elliot, A New Beginning, Captain Wentworth Home from the Sea, and The Language of the Fan, all available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

I am also the author of a modern romance, The Second Date, Love Italian-American Style, and have recently published my first mystery, a British police procedural, Three's A Crowd, A Patrick Shea Mystery.

I enjoy writing for, and I especially enjoy hearing comments from my readers. Everyone has been very nice, and it is appreciated. Mary
