Hi! My name is Amelia Hawke (Like the bird, and, more importantly, Hawkeye)
I’m 18, I live in New Zealand, and I’m bisexual.
I once ate 8 oranges in a row, and a lack of internet notoriety was not born. I'm still proud.
I tumble on tumblr. My blog 'tis found here -->
Ships I Sail:
"If you’re in a fandom, it’s almost without a doubt that you ship something. Even casual fans will occasionally mutter “oh they’d be good together” every once in a while, and you know they’re practically one of us now."
I really can’t stand the whole Stiles-Is-Pack-Mom (a: heteronormative - just because Derek could be that dad, why does that have to mean Stiles would be a mom? b: I know you think Stiles would be a pack parent, and Imma let you finish but Scott McCall would be the best pack parent of all time) thing tbqh and it makes me want to rage-quit.
The Vampire Diaries
Also one time when I was explaining the concept of shipping to my little sister, she came up with the ship of Bonnie/Nick Fury.
Marvel Movie ‘Verse
Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire
i do not, will not, like these ships
I have more, but they are really more one-off and random. Some fandoms I never post about, or they’re long dead and I don’t really have feelings about them anymore. One exception is Charles/Eric in X-men: First Class - I’ve never really had feelings about them, but I do believe they are canon.
I don’t ship any RPF, because I find RPS really really gross and squicky. I find jokes the actors make about it funny (Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are hilarious), and I’m not beyond hoping a couple gets together/their relationship works out (Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev) but I can’t read fic about them without feeling like a pervert.
If anyone is curious about what else I ship in what fandom, just send me a message and I will add it to the list.
