Author has written 26 stories for W.I.T.C.H., Aladdin, Harry Potter, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Sailor Moon.
Let's see here, what to say about me? I'm a twenty-two year old fangirl named Eve who resides in the colorful state of Colorado. There's not much else to know, unless you want me to go on a rant, which I tend to do. In my spare time I love reading, writing, hanging out with friends, music, singing, and musical theatre. For any more relevant info simply look below.
Oh, and have I mentioned that I'm obsessed with Harry Potter, W.I.T.C.H., and Aladdin? No? Well, now I have! ;)
-Says in a sing-song voice- She shiiips!! She shiiips!! So, what does she ship? This is your answer...
Harry/Ginny (Harry Potter)
- Ginny shows her compassionate side by listening to Harry and understanding him when he needs it. She also puts him in his place when his ego inflates or when he pulls the noble card by telling her that she can't go to the MoM in OotP. Harry needs to understand that he can't protect everyone all the time, that Ginny is skilled with her magic, and that she is perfectly capable of defending herself. Harry also needs someone who can tell him when he's being unreasonable, or when needs to pull his head out of his ass. He needs that in a life partner to keep him calm, and he has that in Ginny. Oh, and he got her as a life partner, too, so I was obviously on the same page as JKR!! =D I have a ton of other evidence that backs this couple up, but it would seriously take all day to write. The aforementioned reasons are a few out of many that show how well suited this couple is.
Ron/Hermione (Harry Potter)
- These two expressed their bottled up sexual tension by bickering relentlessly for years. You always tease the ones you love, right? Well not always, but in this circumstance that was undoubtedly the case. Ron and Hermione also balance each other out very well. Ron can teach Hermione how to relax and have some fun, and Hermione can try and instill some discipline in goofball Ron. But I must say, Ron was very disciplined and dutiful when push came to shove in DH.
Will/Matt (W.I.T.C.H. - the animated series, not the comics. They're okay in the comics, but I'm not here to elaborate on their ink and paper identities. I like them better in the show, but that's just my opinion.)
- Like Ron and Hermione, these two balance each other out. Will is a feisty, hot tempered girl, and Matt is laid back and chill. One can assume that in scenes not shown in the series,(that probably exist in the minds of fanfiction writers like myself), that Matt understands Will, and finds ways to calm her down when she gets all hot and bothered. (That assumption, in my opinion isn't much of a stretch.) Simply put, Matt is the water to Will's fire. Will always feels the need to be the tough girl, and to a certain extent, she has to be. This is because she's the leader of a five girl battalion and has a massive amount of power in her hands. When she's with Matt, though, she can drop the act - her tough girl side isn't exactly an "act," but she can let herself be a hell of a lot more open with her emotions than she usually is - and expose her weaknesses to him. When she's with Matt, Will can show him her "vulnerable little girl" side that she won't let anyone else see.
- Jasmine and Aladdin also have the lovely balance dynamic in their relationship. Jasmine is fiery and independent, and Aladdin is more easy going. Like Will/Matt, I think Aladdin could help Jasmine calm down and put her emotions and thoughts into perspective if or when she's angry, and he could prevent her from acting on impulse when it is unwise to do so. I think Jasmine could do the same with Aladdin since she seems to put a lot of thought into her decisions when her haste isn't triggered by her emotions. Additionally, Jasmine and Aladdin share common ground from the beginning of their relationship. They articulated that they both knew what it felt like to be trapped shortly after their escape from the fruit vendor in "Aladdin". Simply put, they appreciated one other for their respective personalities before succumbing to a deep attraction. In the animated series they work together as a cunning, quick witted team. There are also times that they often become frustrated with one another and argue, only to make up and try again, proving that out of all the Disney couples created, they are by far the most realistic and relatable.
I have no problem if you disagree with my shipping preferences. It's not like I'm going to eat you if you're a Harry/Hermione, Will/Caleb, or Jasmine/Mozenrath shipper. (Sadira/Mozenrath FTW!! :P Kidding! ;)) I'll respect your opinions even if I don't agree with them because I'm a reasonable person.
3/15/09 - I posted "Feeling Whole and Wearing the 'Heels of Death'." It's a oneshot about Will when she's preparing for her mother's wedding.
4/1/09 - I posted "The Shirt Chronicles", a drabbleshot where Will reflects on different aspects of her relationship with Matt, including how he shows his nurturing side when she broke her wrist.
6/25/09 - I posted "Evening Walks", a oneshot in which Matt contemplates Will's relationship with her father and how it affects her ability to be vulnerable and open with him.
7/22/09 - I posted "Prelude", a oneshot that's centered around W/M and C/C having some winter fun with a good, old fashioned snowball fight.
7/24/09 - I posted "Waking Will", a oneshot focused on an ordinary morning in the Vandom-Olsen household.
8/3/09 - broadway-luv on deviantART made a Will/Matt fanart for me. It's an illustration from "Prelude". :D Check it out! Is that sweet of her or what? :) And fear not, readers... Expect some W/M drabbles and a oneshot soon. I've been having a hard time deciding what piece I want to complete first and I've been being lazy. :P I'll knock it off. ;) I won't leave you hanging, I promise!
8/5/09 - I posted "When He Knew", a drabbleshot that explores Matt's thoughts on the morning of "Prelude".
8/12/09 - I posted "Sleeping In", a drabble that is a companion/follow-up piece to "Waking Will".
9/9/09 - Long time, no see, lovelies! Darn school. Anyhow... I posted "The Things That Really Matter", a oneshot about Married!Will/Matt and the trials and tribulations that Will faces in her job as a policewoman. Yes, I said policewoman! :D x3333
11/22/09 - I haven't updated in ages! Goodness! Anyways... I posted "'Spilled' Coffee", a drabbleshot about Will dealing with her colleague Brent Decker and his antics.
1/24/10 - This whole not updating for two entire months thing is getting old. :/ I'll try to make up for that by posting my work more frequently. Today I posted "The Contemplation of Beauty", a drabbleshot that is set after "Eye of the Beholder", an episode in the animated series of Aladdin. This piece delves into Jasmine's thought process about Aladdin's love for her and ties up some loose ends from that episode.
3/8/10 - I posted "Those Moments", a drabbleshot that explores Jasmine and Aladdin's married life Post-"Aladdin and the King of Thieves". My next update will contain the long awaited Post-"S is for Self" oneshot. Yay!! :D
3/31/10 - I posted "Their Willow", a Will and Matt-centric oneshot that focuses on what happened after the episode "S is for Self". I'm very proud of all the hard work I put into this piece, and I'm happy that I've finally written it after having the desire to do so for so long. Also, I've been posting my fics here for over a year now, so yay!! :D -purchases some balloons and eats a vanilla cake-
6/22/10 - I posted the first part of "An Interrupted Sleep", a twoshot that chronicles two events that disturb Matt's "good night's sleep". Aren't I a little sadist? :P
6/24/10 - I posted "Contentment", a drabbleshot that focuses on Harry's "particularly happy hour" by the lake with Ginny. It's short and sweet and it felt beyond great to write about my first OTP. :D X33333
7/14/10 - I posted "Learning Something New", a drabbleshot in which Matt gives Will a guitar lesson.
7/24/10 - I posted "Food In Excess", a drabble in which Will, Matt, Taranee and Nigel stop for a junk food filled lunch during a double date. It's short and sweet and it was very fun to write. On another note, it's officially been a year since I posted "Waking Will" on this site. Wow! O.O I'm glad to say that my writing has improved since then. ;)
8/6/10 - I posted "Shagon's Fight", a vignette that explores Shagon's thoughts and feelings as he tries to obtain control over Matt's mind. This fic is based on the common theory that Shagon and Matt are still one entity--even after the events of "S is for Self".
9/2/10 - I posted the first part of "Life in Letters", a multi-chaptered fanfic that includes short, alphabetically structured narratives about the girls and their love interests (who, in my mind, become their husbands) and their respective lives.
11/20/10 - I posted "Laying Down the Law", a oneshot that displays an awkward and fun mother-daughter moment with Will and Susan.
11/21/10 - I posted "Rain and Grief", a "Harry Potter" introspective fic that focuses on Ron's emotions shortly after the end of "Deathly Hallows."
12/24/10 - I posted "A Different Form of Payment", a fluffy oneshot in which Will "pays" Matt for helping her with her algebra homework in a non-conventional and fun way. Merry Christmas to everyone who happens to celebrate Christmas!! :D x3333
3/25/12 - Looks like I haven't updated my profile in a while. Whoops. :P xDDDD Since my last update, I've posted "With a Little Help," "Intimacy Equals 'Into Me See,'" and most recently, "Well Deserved Payback". I hope that you all enjoyed the fics if you've read 'em. :)
5/17/13 - I'm continuing to fail hardcore at updating my profile. :P As far as my W.I.T.C.H. fanfics are concerned, I posted two short ficlets in my "Transcendence Drabbles" series ages ago. Additionally, I just submitted a Sailor Moon fanfic entitled "A Return to Happiness" which was very fun to write back in August. :)
