Author has written 12 stories for Supernatural, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Age.
Hi! I'm keldjinfae, and also the Pilot Fish over at The Aquarium, my co-writing account with Casey V. (the Mako Shark), White Silver and Mercury (the Not-Giant Squid), and Shinrai Faith (the Barracuda), where we put our crazy stupid minds together to... write even more fanfiction.
Who: Pilot Fish or Kel
What: Human, supposedly. Definitely female, and an eccentric who has a possibly unhealthy love for select fandoms and, as a result, occasionally writes fanfiction for them.
Where: Here. Duh.
When: Since 1987 to now. And now. And then. And now...
Why: Because sometimes TV shows or games catch my attention, and while I'm watching or playing my brain says something along the lines of, "Yeah, this is great, but wouldn't it be fantastic if these guys did this?" And then I found sites like this, and I was able to make these ideas happen.
Likes: Music (of the rock, alternative, classical, pop, and hip hop varieties), literature (although as of late most of my reading material has been fanfic), coffee, my kitten-shaped ball of chaos (I just had to go and name him Loki...), homemade cookies, pajamas (seriously, I have more sleepwear than I do "out in the world with people" clothes), ballerina flats.
Dislikes: Pickles. Pants. Socks. Shoes with laces. Poorly written BDSM stories (fanfic or otherwise). Thinking about things I don't like for the dislikes list.
Fandoms and Pairings: Kingdom Hearts (Riku/Sora, Axel/Roxas, and Axel/Sora, although if you give me some good Roxas/Sora I'm all over that, too), Dragon Age (Alistair/f!Amell, Alistair/f!Cousland, Zevran/f!Tabris, Leliana/f!Brosca, Fenris/f!Hawke, Anders/f!Hawke, Isabela/f!Hawke), and Supernatural (initially just Dean/Sam, and then Castiel swooped in and Dean was groped by an angel).
Things You Might Want to Note... or Not:
I am a broke caregiver with a basketful of disorders, the most prominent being manic-depression. As a result of this, posting and updating stories depends very much on my fluctuating moods. I apologize in advance for the amount of time it may take me to update any stories you may be following, as well as for stories that are edited repeatedly or may just suddenly disappear from my profile altogether; all I ask is that you remember that fanfic is something that is supposed to be fun, and please don't consider writing it to be work--I already have a hard enough time getting through my actual job every day as it is. That said, I don't mean to say never tell me you enjoy something I write and you can't wait until I update, simply don't assume I never will continue the story if it's been, say, a year (at least) since the last time I posted a chapter.
Disclaimer aside, if you have any questions about the swinging pendulum that is my mood disorder, feel free to PM me any time, provided you intend to be respectful (and don't worry, I will be in return).
I am a supporter of reviews. They encourage authors to write more, help them develop their skills, and create a sense of community, which is sort of what this site is all about, right? So if you stumble across a story you like, take a little time and hit the "review" button, especially if you're already adding it to your favorites; you'll make that author's day.
In-Progress (take it however you will):
Wish You Were Here: The first chapter out of a three part story is up, and I'm hoping to finish and post chapter two sometime in August, as we're coming up on the only Axel/Roxas month we'll be alive for (unless immortality is achieved). We'll see how this plan plays out.
Light Up As If You Have a Choice: I've been stuck on chapter eight, but I'm back in a place where I can pick it up and get things moving along again, so hopefully I'll have an update ready before the summer's out.
