I'm a 23-year-old grad student studying school psychology. I'm both a New Englander and a Californian, so I have a little bit of an mixed-up accent, exaggerated when I'm angry or passionate about something (thank you, Italian heritage).
If you've somehow managed to stumble your way upon my profile, I'm quite amazed, considering I don't write. I'm not that creative, at all. But I do love to read. And that's what my profile is for - to make sure I can always come back to read my favorites. When I get hooked on a TV show, or movie, or book, I end up wishing it didn't have to end. And thankfully it doesn't have to because of fanfiction. So when I get a new series/movie/book addiction, I come here and become an insomniac.
I have a tumblr now! Well, actually three, because I'm an idiot at times and did not understand the concept of making distinct blogs. So I have my primary url, which is just a multi-fandom mess with some personal thoughts thrown in sporadically: sunrise13sunset. One sideblog is dedicated to Sherlock and Benedict Cumberbatch, including related things like Star Trek (with an increasing amount of Tom Hiddleston...), and has the oh-so-original url of sherlockedcumberbatched. My last one is evereverlarking, which is the place for my Hunger Games/Everlark/Josifer/THG cast-related goodness. It's new. Blame Catching Fire. Please come visit and drop me a message if you feel so inclined!
My current obsession is The Big Bang Theory (Winter 2011). I started to watch it almost a year ago after I went through a bad breakup (BBT was something funny to get my mind off it), and I fell in love with it. Over this Christmas break, I rewatched all the episodes again, and am now in love with both Sheldon and Jim Parsons :P I love the ShAmy - I think they are absolutely adorable. But I've also come to realize I am a Shenny shipper in fic, too. But I would never want to see them together on the show; it just wouldn't actually work.
New obsession (April 2, 2012): The Hunger Games. I wasn't very interested in it until I saw the movie, and it got me hooked. After reading the 1st book over a weekend, I spent the next weekend reading Catching Fire and Mockingjay in two days. Incidentally, I fell in love with Peeta. Can I have him, please? ;)
New obsession (August 7, 2012): The Dark Knight Trilogy. I've loved The Dark Knight since it came out in 2008, but I always thought Batman Begins was just okay...until I saw the whole trilogy in one sitting at the midnight premiere event for The Dark Knight Rises. And now I absolutely love all three movies. It set me off on new-found Batman and Christian Bale addictions, and I've come to the conclusion that the other Batman movies can't hold a candle to Christopher Nolan's, and if I could marry Christian Bale, I would.
New obsessions (December 17, 2012): It's finals time, so what am I doing? Finding another series to love so that I can procrastinate on everything educational. I've gone through Supernatural, Greek, How I Met Your Mother, and am now onto Psych; I love me some Castiel, Cappie, Barney, and Shawn. Stupid shows making me fall in love with characters that don't exist ;P
New obsession (March 20, 2013): Sherlock. Absolutely adore this show. Thank you (and damn you), Netflix, for repeatedly recommending this to me due to my interest in Bones and Inception. Now I'm obsessed with a show that comes out with three episodes every two years. And it's British, so you just know it's only going to last another 2 seasons or so. Especially because Freeman and Cumberbatch are getting all famous on us. And Cumberbatch. If he showed up on my doorstep and asked me to marry him, I would, no questions asked. That man is just amazing. (He has even kicked Christian Bale out of the hypothetical-marriage spot.)
New (actually, repeat) obsession (November 30, 2013): The Hunger Games. Damn Catching Fire had to go and be released right before my final two weeks of the semester. Very inconvenient. Now my love of Everlark has been reignited. Like I need another thing to continuously obsess over, what with Sherlock: Series 3 premiering in a month.
