Author has written 3 stories for Naruto.
Previously known as: Rima-chan
Currently completing my BA, so this should give you a general idea of my age.
No, I haven't started only 3 stories during my long...long years on fanfiction. I've just deleted my old ones because...well we all wrote Mary-sues when we were thirteen with overused plots etc. Basically, I was young and silly and had so much fun with those stories, but they are better to be left in my distant memory :D Not sure if I even have them anywhere.
Location: Somewhere in the Baltic states
I have the terrible habit of writing AUs...I think it might be because the original story, while awesome and absolutely mighty, is so darn vast that for one I would probably make some serious errors and secondly, I think there are enough canon stories that you've all read the original story plenty of times. It can be done really well and my utmost respect to those amazing stories that follow canon, but I like twisting the original to something new and see where I end up.
The future? I'd really like to try my hand at writing a LOTR or Hobbit story. I have some ideas, but for now I will try to properly familiarise myself with the lore so I'd be comfortable writing it. Sure, I've seen the movies and read the books. The "movie" books at least, just started Silmarillion.
Through some dramatic convincing (read: I overcame my habit of "I'll get to it eventually") I managed to re-write Bite me!
True enough, I did the last twenty or so chapters in twelve hours in one sitting, but now I can honestly say that the story is complete and while even now I find little errors I overlooked, I am generally happy and in love with it.
To those who haven't read it, it is semi-AU. I started it when the "facts" revealed in the manga were a bit different from our current reality and planned the story accordingly. When I was nearing the end it was one of my reviewers who suggested adding the AU tag to the story instead of just changing everything.
Thank you every single one of you who has reviewed or added this story to your favourites or alerts. It shocked me how many of you read it (seriously, I had never even dreamed that it would attract such a reading) and apparently liked it as well. I'm still getting notifications from this fic and I hope this will become one of those veteran stories. You know what I'm talking about, the old completed stories that are still hovering in the Naruto databases, hidden under new stories (as they should be) and just waiting to be rediscovered.
My newest most precious baby. Dystopian AU with guns and space colonies and so on. There is so much to explore and do with this story and I know it will probably take me several years to actually complete the damn thing and polish it to perfection (or close to it at least).
I wrote about half of the first chapter, completely forgot about it for weeks, maybe months, and then one day I found the folder and read that crudely, hastily written text and absolutely adored the idea. Finished the chapter without remembering where I was planning on heading with the story, but now I remember and I will write as much as inspiration and university allows me to.
On a hiatus...Until I can get around to figuring out what I want to accomplish with that story. Currently I'm keeping it as it is with the very OOC Itachi etc. When inspiration hits, I will pick it up again and fix that hot mess.
Also I love my sleep, and black coffee...and I have an unsavory habit of drinking too much every now and then.
But I love writing. I should write an entire collection of perfect scenes in my head that just need a backstory to make it relatable. That's usually how an entire story begins - I have a scene in mind and if by some chance I fall too in love with it, I'll take the time to write an entire story for it.
