Author has written 13 stories for Farscape, and X-Men: Evolution.
I am a big fan of all things sci fi/ fantasy. I don't read as much as I used to and have found myself more into TV series as I get older. At one time, I read a lot of epic fantasy series such as the works of Robert Jordan and David Eddings. Creative settings still intrigue me, and two of my favorite shows are Firefly and Farscape. My one-and-only fanfic so far is a Farscape story, though eventually I hope to explore the fandoms of Firefly and Roswell.
Lately, I've been most drawn to works that bring a fantasy element to the "real world". I love X-Men in all it's incarnations (books, comics, movies, cartoon series), but I am especially fond of X-Men: Evolution. My current obsession is the TV series Roswell. I will soon finish watching season three, at which point I will have only the solace of fanfics to fill the void. Over the summer, my husband and I watched the first three seasons of Supernatural, another great show that juxtaposes the extraordinary with the mundane. Of course Heroes is a big favorite as well.
I recently published my first novel, "Lost Souls and Source Code". (The title links to my Author Tree site, which includes reviews and an excerpt.) The best place to order it is through the publisher, as they offer it at a discount. My love of the paranormal and all things psuedoscientific definitely shows in the book, as does my inclination toward character-driven drama. I had two different readers tell me the book would appeal to "people who like Buffy and Smallville," which is probably true, although I've not yet watched either of those series.
I'm currently working on marketing my book, in the hope that I will sell enough copies to allow me to continue the series. The entire storyarc is plotted in my mind, but it remains to be seen whether the demand will be there. In the mean time, I look forward to perusing this site and meeting others who share my interests.
When not escaping reality, I manage an options portfolio. I also take care of my cats, dog, fish, plants, and husband, not necessarily in that order.

"Why do they always teach us that it's easy and evil to do what we want and that we need discipline to restrain ourselves? It's the hardest thing in the world--to do what we want. And it takes the greatest kind of courage. I mean, what we really want."
"Reason is not automatic. Those who deny it cannot be conquered by it. Do not count on them. Leave them alone."
"The purpose of morality is to teach you, not to suffer and die, but to enjoy yourself and live."
"Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule."
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."
"The irrationality of a thing is no argument against its existence, rather a condition of it."
